Sitting with the purchase button waiting .....

Wish I could find a Discount "promo code" to use @ shop.nvidia.com   ---> or where Nvidia sells the open box returns for a discount.

its about 70% faster than old titan x so it would be a good size upgrade. people say the ti may get skipped this series.

Update to numbers...crunched 2 days worth of production...average production:

Titan X Pascal (1900 MHz GPU): 1,186,151 points (just shy of 1.2 million...not quite the 1.3 million of my original post)
1080 FTW (2100 MHz GPU): 799,598 points

So, the Titan X Pascal (overclocked) shows 48% more production than a 1080 FTW (overclocked).

Not too shabby!

I've tried several times to get a 1080 FTW from EVGA to no avail. I almost pulled the trigger on the Titan X Pascal a few times as well. Just feels like it's a waste, when I want either 4k60 for more than a year, or 1440p for the normal upgrade time. If I get it for 1440p, I might as well have stuck with a single 1080 or SLI 1080s.
Realistically, can anyone tell me what performance you get using a Titan XP? Does it warrant the price of 2 1080s? My hesitation is seeing it unable to keep 60fps in TW3, and that's what I'm basing a lot of games off, since it's such a beautiful and intensive game for the GPU. It's the reason I'm upgrading my 780 SC ACX a year early to begin with. (stutter sucks.. and I enjoy having hairworks and all the plush options that nvidia users pay extra for)

If the price wasn't so high, or the 1080s were in stock (hybrid or FTW), I'd have that and a new 2560x1440p gsync monitor on the way to my house this week.. Any real world info on this would be appreciated. I wish I knew that the Tis were weeks out, and I'd just bide my time. With my luck, they'd be 91 days from my date of purchase.

Cool GTX, let me be the devil on your other shoulder: don't do it!

You've got a great rig already, and we're only a few months from the next big thing. Hold on now, then splurge on the next big thing and you'll be all set!

2 1080s will be awesome for either 1440 or 4k. A single Titan I hear is not enough for 60fps in 4k with everything maxed.

The Titan is only 20-30% faster then a 1080. If that's worth an extra $500+ then go for it.. but 2 1080s in sli will drag that Titan in any game that uses sli.
