So then we have to wait a couple two or three months and see what their monthly average is over time.
They may produce more than EVGA a few days of the month, but not over a months time.

Considering they have 3200 active folders and EVGA has 600 or so active folders, I am still not impressed with how much more they produce even one a good day

Sure, they are pulling in more points. But there is no point in worrying about it. They have a long way to go to catch up. And by then many of their number will have dropped off. Not to mention all the Winter folders on our team. Besides, the more folders in the world the better. It's nice to be number 1, but in the end the goal is to help research cures and every contribution counts.

+1 Hopefully one day there will no longer be cancer and the other horrible diseases....

ya, the whole point of this thread was simply to let everyone know that there is now another team that is at the same lvl EVGA is, at least for now. in the end the main goal of Folding is to help find a cure and to that end the more the merrier.

It'll be interesting to see how they progress. QRB will start for them soon enough if they got pass keys. Also, some of the EVGA crew were folding for Bjorn3d and may not have switched back yet. Others are more active in the colder months and some just fold for the EVGA bucks and do Boinc crunching the rest of the month. This new team might get more EVGA folders back in the fold as it were.

Maybe we should tell that team about EVGA Bucks!

just throwing it out there since it was brought up, my rig pulls 350-400 watts from the wall, GPU only folding, monitor included.
i pay just under $0.12/kwh, it doesnt add up to much for me.
I am glad we have some competition again, we dont want to be getting bored, now do we ;)

I just wanted to point out that they peaked on the first
09.01.16     129,306,554     12,037
When Yesterday, we posted what appears to be our largest single day (Non-stats system error)
09.03.16     145,969,727     5,566
And we may still increase our output over a day or two more if the usual monthly curve happens again.
Just food for thought.

I'm not even playing right now, because I am away. My rig may be puny compared to my old rigs, but it still pumps out 1 mill ppd approximately.

Quite frankly, I am very happy to see a large video produce (lol, not talking about his waist size) encouraging people to attack cancer through folding. Barnacles and Jayztwocents have a good bit of people that follow their videos and shenanigans, so I gladly welcome the powerhouse of points no matter how short lived it is.

Nice low W Folder you have there

My two (new ) Just converted to Folding on 19 August, eat a few more Watts and then add the AC bill, should be interesting next bill

Rig 1 - X99, 5960X - AIO, 1080 FE & 980 SC, Air = 558 W, ~ 1.4M PPD (new EVGA 1200W P2 PSU arrives today, may trim the Watts by 5%)

Rig 2 - Z97, 4760K, 2- Titan X SC, custom loop = 700 W, ~ 1.4 PPD
