During winter you are paying nearly $0.09993 per KWh. So it would cost you half what it costs me.

One sec tech difficulties on cellphone.

Edit: woops my calculation was for the 4 1070's I had running at the time not for 5. So $20 per month for a 200W TDP GPU.

I also do not know where you got 500W from but that is enough to run two titans folding, no cpu folding.

Don't forget the GPU does not run all by itself.
A motherboard with sound, network, a few fans and a couple hard drives and PUS electric usage is right around 100 watts right there alone.
Add in the CPU and GPU, it add up.

ya and your GPU doesn't run at 100% TDP 24/7 either, more like 80-90% of TDP. so that alone is enough for all peripherals but again those will be drawing power as long as the PC is on, if you are folding or not. that is why i stick with just TDP of the GPU's folding as it represents the difference between folding or not folding, as my PC is already on 24/7.

Some of us do more then Just Fold.
Normal Usage: I have 5 Computers running But ONLY on the GPU they are each taking 820 Watts to 900 Watts.
Totaling of only 14 GPUs 6 980 3 Titans 3 780 and 2 R2 290X

PG going on now: I have 4 Computers running ONLY on the CPU they are each taking 460 Watts to 510 Watts.
I do not run GPUs while in an Event.
Wattage & Usage Provided by UPS Units.

Regardless of whether other teams can over produce the EVGA folding team the bottom line is that all of us fold to find the 'cure'. I salute all folders from every team no matter where you are.

We've lost two members of our forums to cancer in the last few years. This is a battle of folders against cancer and other diseases. In time and with patience, it's a battle we'll win.

all averages are over 7 days. the team is brand new so they have multiple 0 days in that avg bringing it down substantially. look at the points today tab or their actual profile to see the points they made on an individual day.

here are the last 3 days:

Barnacules Nerdgasm
  • 09.02.16 - 127,622,146
  • 09.01.16 - 129,306,554
  • 08.31.16 - 122,217,973
Folding @ EVGA
  • 09.02.16 - 134,402,191
  • 09.01.16 - 124,633,753
  • 08.31.16 - 103,650,664

so we lost 2 days in a row but the monthly EVGA Buck folders have kicked in which brought us back to #1 yesterday.

Sure, they are pulling in more points. But there is no point in worrying about it. They have a long way to go to catch up. And by then many of their number will have dropped off. Not to mention all the Winter folders on our team. Besides, the more folders in the world the better. It's nice to be number 1, but in the end the goal is to help research cures and every contribution counts.
