Well,it will be interesting to follow.
 
Over the last 15 years, some 1.8 million have come and gone.
 
It is easy to get people to "join" ...more challenging to get them to "stay"
 
I have pointed this out dozens of times on the FF before being banned, and again on the Reddit...before being banned.
 
Being consistently right just gets you no respect.  :)
 
as always, the potential to catch the next wave of VR technology exists for PG.
 
Lets see if they provide the support to harness and maintain the latest windfall. ;)

They started on the 28th, and now there is 3000 on the team.
I have tried for 9 years to get people to fold. Even had a service call at the local Alzheimers admin office and I never could get anyone to fold.
Once they asked how much does it pay? I tell them nothing, in fact it costs money to do it they look at me like I'm nuts.
 
This seems odd, fishy, 3000 in a couple days. Who is this guy some one famous?
 
edit: They have five times as many folders but only producing 7million PPD more is not impressive,

did a reasonable intro and description step by step VID.
 
I guess that is all you need to get bored people to try.
 
High end graphics cards do sell in the millions...how many hours a day can you possibly game....?
 
After the first $100 delta electric bill...the number who will stay...
the number who will stay when the client conflicts with newest drivers...
the number who will stay when PG changes the point system without warning or explanation...
The number who will stay after 6 months without any update whatsoever regarding research or leadership...
 
The list goes on , and on, and on.
 
Who know, 20th chance might be a charm and PG brings out some true leadership and communication so the next 500,000 folders don't quit after a few months of trying the latest fad.

I'm still think I'm going to run a GPU or two FaH this heating season along with my BOINC crunching.
 

If this guy can get 3000 people to fold in just a couple days. I think I will open a used car lot and see if I can get this guy to come work for me as a salesman.

If he can keep things going strong, I'm happy as a pig in filth. However, I agree with the 'power usage' fall off. However, I've reached out to him and invited him to pop into the forum here to say Hi if he feels like it. I wouldn't mind setting up a little friendly competition with someone willing to make a run at us!

Yep as last Winter I did heat my house Folding and Crunching.
Not sure I want to spend all the money on our over priced Gas in the Winter Time from Excel Energy.
At least Elect Cost is half what it is now in the summer time.
