Once the value of a bitcoin crashes again they will slow way down.

btc has already recently crashed, when bitfinex was hacked out of nearly 120,000 BTC, nearly 66 million USD, 2 months ago.

As a team we tend to have lower production toward the end of the month - it will spike again on Oct 1st and we'll be back ahead on the daily.  For the month of Sept we outproduced them by a good amount, but worth keeping an eye on as CureCoin's daily output is increasing

I'd hoped that they'd stick with it, every unit folded helps. I remember starting on a 8800gtx. Problem is most people logoff or turn their systems off when they're done. It's only the diehards that rock it overnight and 24/7 in some cases. Even I had to turn my system off at times due to heat and power bills from time to time.

+1

Power has not been too bad, based on my First Folding impacted bill increased $232.76  (change from last year; rolling previous 12 months is on the bill)

Folding 24x7 on 2 Rigs with 4 GPUs cost me about $7.27 / day ---> this would include all power used including A/C & fans

Consumed an extra 1,851 KWH and this was a hot September, so general A/C was up; and Folding based need of A/C.

I'm not sure that last chart is all that good at reflecting what is going on. BC started around over 100mill per day and has slowed to around 90 mill per day. And I'm guessing the "Average" in that pie graph is including the time before BC existed, artificially producing much lower numbers then is occurring in reality.

Where are you getting 60 thousand from, I'm not seeing that number on that page?

ok, ok, ok. So it is a lot of regular people with more affordable computers vs a single user with a massive crunch farm, lol.  Understood.
