Again not relevent for teams because if a server goes down no team gets its work. If a unit isn't available no team gets it. The randomness and chaos is exactly why you only need a large sample size, with 4-5k being way more than enough.

All your points are valid ones for a single user doing a handful of units a day but the day to day team vs team numbers these points are no longer relevent.

They are valid depending on how a given team is structured. Right now the smart money is in GPU folding. A few years ago it was SMP. Anomalies for a given work unit server may drastically impact one team while not blipping the radar of another., in such a scenario.

Longevity is the key to normalization. Not daily.

The stats have leveled out since the points dump as of the 6pm Central update.
Curecoin is right there with us on the 24hr average +/- 200k.
But they are currently tracking for more points this week.

I just checked and we're out pacing them on the weekly total by about 100 Million points  so far. 673,101,926 for us vs 573,741,483 for them as of the latest EOC update.

Cool GTX your new hardware has pushed team EVGA back to number one in production. We lost to Curecoin yesterday.

 
The previously removed two displaced GPUs back online late today
 
Last couple of days were only the 4 Titan X cards; two from each generation.
 
Now the 1080 FE and 980 SC are back Folding in a X58 Rig (estimate 1M- 1.5M PPD)
 
Not helping getting a lot of server not found errors the last two days --- Windows 10 issue ?

Don't think it's a win 10 thing. I've been getting work.

I get work mostly, then 1 hour of server not found, then back to Folding  - as to not derail --> I may make a separate thread if it keeps happening.
 
I'll try to keep a closer eye on it; never happens while I'm actually monitoring it, come back hours later to see the errors

The averages are also way off from what you were also pointing out. If you follow the actual dailys, you'll see that EOC's averages have FINALLY fallen back into place instead of being grossly over inflated because of the server outage and following MASSIVE dump.

Hmm, that looks different than when I looked, I was sorting the teams list by 24hr average and looked at points for the week.

The fact that the averages are finally back to normal is what I was pointing out, no more inflation from the points dump.

Edit: I think the difference I am seeing is because on the 9pm update, curecoin made a few more million than us.
