chris21010 Play on two teams is all, like as well do they also go after the Coin.

I did it to only to test it out.

2 bcavnaugh       648397   8   224497  Curecoin (224497)

oh, playing multiple teams at the same time... i dont see a problem with it. i fold for EVGA cuz i can not cuz of the coin. last month was the first month i could actually afford to fold full tilt for EVGA to help reach that 100 billion milestone. its nice knowing that i can fold 24/7 and have my power costs covered. who here who actually wants to find a cure not want to also cover costs of doing so if you simply do the same work under another team number? i believe in the cause enough so to invest heavily into it and to hopefully see it grow into something more. its a passion for me.

And that is fine we have other team member that do the same.

they are down to 41.7% retention rate...and dropping off fast

Server BS certainly didn't help I'm sure.

On Reddit Dr. Pande said that he is waiting for results of survey many of us participated in months ago.

Simply amazing...donors tell you what to do to retain interest for 10 years and you ban them for their vocal advocacy....then you wait for a year for a "study" to tell you what donors want...

You just can't make this stuff up.

Cool GTX your new hardware has pushed team EVGA back to number one in production. We lost to Curecoin yesterday.

Honestly, based on what I'm seeing EOC's numbers doing, I don't think we can trust the 24 hour avg production for another week or two. Our actual production numbers are around 118 Million ppd and the calculated avg is showing at well north of 130 Million PPD . . . Something isn't right, and I'm betting it's the downtime we just had from the server updates that are skewing those numbers.

Give it some time and we'll see how we really stand against Curecoin and Barnacules.

I agree, the server downtime is still skewing numbers.
Should level out tomorrow or Friday tho.

Stop looking at the averages and start looking at the actual production numbers. We lost to cure yesterday, first time sence it launched, by 1.5 million and we are only 64k ahead so far today, as of the 9pm update. So today could swing either way honestly.

Averages are important. The luck of the draw as far as the randomness of work unit projects is taken away by looking at historical trends over daily values. A comparison could be made to the weather. It may fluctuate from day to day but that isn't to say the average temperature isn't rising from March to August in the northern hemisphere.

Avgerage due to poor work unit sateration is only aplicable when you have few units worked. Teams work thousands of units a day, plenty enough units to get a good average. The only thing the 7 day avg does is help show new trends.

You are assuming an equal number of available work units and luck of the draw distributed among teams. The randomness or unknown quantity of projects introduces chaos that can only be averaged out in historical trends.

Not to mention work unit assignment servers going down. :)
