Did EK custom make that HEPTA block or is that a stock part?

it is a standard stock item that EK designed for that 7 gamers 1 pc build but anyone can get one.

Welp there she is boys, in all her splendor. Though i did run into a reletively frustrating design flaw on the dg-87 but i was able to figure it out and get it to fix. Now i just need to finish the wiring and plumb her up.

That EK X3-250 reservoir does take some room and planning ---> but they look so good
 
I used one in my Titan X SC build

Yay, i got it all plumbed and pump is running for leak test with distilled watter only right now. Lots of air bubbles.

Really fun thread to lurk in.  Definitely a working piece of art.

Welp major malfunction.... right as i was placing the paper towels around other fittings the main output of the pumps blew off the gpu block and pumped atleast 1.5 leters of water before i could get to the power switch powering just the pumps. But dont worry the vast majorty of the water was pumped out of the case as i was there to divert the pipe as you'll see below.



Now i'll dry everything really good tonight, have a fan on the case, and try again tomorrow.

Edit: on second thought, i think i'll change that connection such that it will use the clear flex tubing. that is the one spot that has the highest pressure and the soft tubing fittings hold much better under pressure than the compression fittings for hard tubing. But i will have to wait till tuesday for 2 more fittings :/

what was the "design flaw" on the case? I've been looking at them for a while waiting for them to come out and have been really considering switching over from my 900D

One of the reasons I have held off on the hard line craze; wonder how well those fitting held under pressure.
