Oh i already did the dry run to make sure everything booted into the bios. But now i am afraid to turn the pc on again untill i can take a look at the psu. I heard a pop after the first boot cycle as the bios was resetting and i killed the power. I smell nothing and dont see anything obviously wrong so till i can take it out, check it, and make sure its all good i am still be offline.

Found it! Not a power supply problem just a faulty wiring on one of my fan controllers. So now i only have 1 controller. And now lets let this thing boot!

well i am in windows and so far so good but i only see 4 of the 5 GPU's for some reason... will have to figure out why and address it. though i have the 4 GPU's running and folding stable.

as for the fan controller it was a Silverstone CPF04 1-to-8 PWM Fan Hub. but i can buy a replacement capacitor for it and it'll work just fine again. i had the power to it reversed when i changed its sata connector.

EDIT: just to figure out the issue with the missing GPU i will have to completely take apart my system again... so screw it im running 4 GPUs with 5 slotted. just disable the slot with the mobo switch and unplugged it.
