Its looking like EK will not rma my two new blocks in time for the start of the challenge but i will be folding at my registered amount as soon as i get the replacements installed. All my other mods will be done by the end of this weekend, i hope.

Welp, time for todays update. i now have the mobo cables and all other parts wired, sleeved, and cables managed. Only wiring left to do is the leds on the gpu blocks, i have more on order, and all the 8pin gpu cables still need to be resleeved. Now when i say all other parts i mean everthing is sleeved. From the water pumps to the custom extentions on the cablemod led strips. This is actually kinda fun custom making every single wire in the case. though its extremely time consuming, good thing i have lots of it right now.

You're getting pretty good with the sleeving Chris. I do like the LED harness. What does it plug into\powers it?
Do you know what happened to your blocks? I wasn't sure where the copper was showing, what caused it?
I don't think you posted about it. Glad you didn't have any hardware damage.

Ek said that the one block was flaking, but not in chunks. Just seemed to me like it desolved away. I didnt feel i pic was needed for that issue has been taken care of. The led harness is powered just like the cablemod led stip i gifed earlier. But using the second fan controller so i can change the lvls independintly of each other.

Today sucked... even though i spent the vast majority of the day sleeving these gpu cables i still couldnt finish them. But once these are done all i'll have left to do is the led harness for the gpu block, when the shipment arrives thats is. After that and waiting on the rma water block i will be back up and running and this time i believe i'll actually be "finished" with this build.

Now my last daily update. Finished the hard part of all the gpu power cables now i just need to put the ends to the power supply on and all the electrical is done! So tonight is the last night of electrical stuff till i am waiting for the rma to get to me so i can then replace the gpu blocks and replumb the whole system and finish this endless build.



And yes that is rust you see on the gpu block screws, a minor problem/proof of the explosive leak.

Lol, i literally can not do that as there are only 9 slots on the 1600W power supply for gpu power. Then i also need a 6 pin to the mobo, so i really only get 8 slots. This way is more uniform and less cable clutter. ;)

p.s. they are a pain in the butt to make though.

Tthat was why I went with two power supplies.

Bah, im only pulling 990W from the wall. Got plenty of headroom on the 1600W power supply.
