Also just as a quick suggestion as we have had one customer tell us that the Windows 10 Anniversary update helped them with this issue.  
 
Something to consider to see if it helps, if you are running Windows 10.

Was hoping this would work, it did not. Updated to a fully patched Win 10 Anniversary Update as of 8/25/16. Same issues. No Kboost and still undefined subvendor.

I am very sorry for any confusion, as I do not have the update available for the GTX 1070 FTW at this time.  I assure you that we are working on having a BIOS available in the near future to assist.

FIXED!!!

Contact EVGA support. Today ( Aug 31, 2016) they emailed me a bios flash update for both master and slave that fixed my issues of having no Kboost in Precision X and also not displaying the subvendor in Tech GPUz.

This is why I stick with EVGA for many products!

The new bios is it for the 1080 or the 1070. i have the 1070 ftw ACX3.0 edition.

 The fixed bios I received was for my 1070 FTW ACX 3.0
