I recently purchased my 1080 FTW and for some reason K Boost is completely missing in Precision X. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm really trying to enable K Boost because my card will not stay overclocked in certain games.

R you sure you are using the proper precision x. Should b precision x OC for pascal. There are two different versions. latest version is 6.0.4

Also in control panel you can change your power setting to performance under 3d settings. This will rum your card at max clock.

I double checked and I do have the correct Precision XOC for Pascal. I also do have my power settings to prefer maximum performance. For some reason my GPU refuses to go above 1721 in maybe half of my games. Can you recommend anything else?

By any chance are you using an AMD motherboard? If so this is a known issue and is being worked on.

I have a Gigabyte GA-990FX motherboard. Are Gigabyte motherboards included in this future fix?

That is an AMD board as he was asking.  It uses an AMD CPU, not Intel.  He didn't mean a board made by AMD.

Can you try the new driver that was released today?

I updated my Geforce driver, uninstalled Precision X OC, restarted my computer, and reinstalled P XOC. Nothing has changed, K Boost is still missing and I still cannot overclock my games even with power settings set to prefer maximum performance. I thought the driver notes said supports the new GeForce GTX 10-series GPUs...
