Last friday I picked up a MSI gtx 1080 gaming X. I have been testing the entire weekend, including playing The Witcher 3, Rainbow 6: Siege and lots of Battlefield 4 - not a single problem. Unfortunately it 'only' overclocks to about 2000mhz steady ingame, but when I first start the game when the card is 'cold' I see boost frequencies of 2084mhz. I think I will buy an EK block for it and watercool the card to maintain high clocks.
It just feels so much better to enjoy my new card, then to nerviously wait for it to crash.
No regrets.
