Has anyone with their replacement RMA been able to overclock their card over 2000 MHz?  Synthetic benchmarks are fine at 2000 core but Overwatch, GTA 5 crash at that speed.

Mine is only stable at 1974 core / 5500 mem.  Not much of headroom for a pricey FTW card =\

I wonder if the SC is the better card in that case? Have these issues cropped up in SC as well or is that in the clear?

I'm dying to know what this physical "should be able to tell the difference on the top near the sli or power connections" I've heard about on here.

Still trying to figure out what to do.. one hybrid rid does this and the other has not yet and there both 1 serial number off from eachother. So wouldn't they. Both have the same pcb??

Seems like this issue would be best served telling us exactly what the issue is insted of leaving it up to everyone's imagination.. cause I can tell ya the feeling around here is that people are afraid there getting a ftw dt "down tuned" card in return.

The good card will run at 2164 and settle around 2088mhz. All that will be lost if my new card comes back at 19×××mhz top overclock for sli.

This happened to my FTW aswell (playing WOW). Funny thing, i changed the card to another PCI slot and it stopped happening. I run Firestrike stress test and Sky Diver and the problem doesnt happen. Gonna put it back to the original slot to test.

I don't have wow or ats. Wonder what other games. Havent tried 3d mark yet. Gotta go to work

For me the following works 100% of the time in Elite Dangerous Horizons, at any resolution, using VR or not:

1. Make sure Debug mode is *off* in Nvidia Control panel (best to do this with DDU then fresh install).
2. Start Precision XOC and leave at default (note that I can get the crash to occur without running this but not as often).
3. Launch ED.
4. Once in-game go into *System Map* - any system will do but those with larger/more stars seems to work best.
5. Navigate to one of the stars.
6. Now ZOOM IN to the star while still in the system map.
7. Crash, black screen loud fans, often game is still playing in the background.

* I can get the same crash to occur while zooming into Planets, but Stars seem to crash 100% of the time.
* I can also get the same crash to occur while entering super-cruise while looking sideways out of the cockpit at a Star (not as frequent).
* Once I enable Debug mode in Nvidia Control panel the game is almost 100% stable, but has still crashed.
* I removed and re-downloaded game from Steam to no effect.

Mine isn't even 70c when it happens!

Before I returned mine I noticed it didn't matter where the temps were at, at least on the two I had anyway.  They would crash anywhere from 40c to 70c.  Just depended on which game you were trying.  The more and more I read in here it sure makes me glad that I just returned for a full refund.

Unfortunately issues are expected with electronics.  Sometimes they are minor and sometimes major.  Just the way it is.  I still will be going EVGA next time I need a card, power supply, etc..  Their customer service is top notch in my book.

Received my new 1080 FTW after RMAing my faulty one, very disappointed to find it has crazy coil whine and won't overclock anywhere near 2.1ghz like the old one did, I should have just gotten the super clocked one from the start and saved on it... nothing about FTW is for the win...

Mine also does this, highly disappointed as my card would turbo out of the box over 2k. I opted evga for their excellent customer service over Asus. Sadly it didn't work out this time around. What you see is truly what you get with this edition of the card.
