no not really, you should be ok now. i believe most if not all have been fixed. i would still just call amazon or the affiliate that sold from amazon if that it were the revised version. and hopefully not a left over of defectives. and remember it was only a Small majority of cards. so yours may not be affected.

Even if mine is a fixed one,it bothers me wether it will eventually perform this issue or not.I mailed to evga.eu and they replied mine was shipped out after sept 1 and should be fine.Though someone reported here a faulty one just like this

After noticing that Amazon had some stock of these cards for delivery via their Prime service for this Saturday, I decided to contact their support and request a replacement only if they can guarantee it would be delivered over the weekend. That way I would get a replacement sooner albeit I obviously have no way of knowing if this card is from the defective batch or one of the fixed ones. The item had been constantly out of stock though so I would imagine that the cards they have are fixed ones. Even if they aren't then I can still go the RMA route if it comes to the worst. That's assuming they agree to replace it; they may tell me I need to contact the manufacturer as I've had the card for two months now since it was delivered mid-August.

Fingers crossed, eh?

How can you tell if the card is from a fixed batch? Are cards with serial numbers over 4000 definitely fixed ones?

Just started my first RMA process ever with EVGA. So far I have bought a 570 and 770 from them (Never even registered them).  My card is a 1070 FTW - purchased 9-15-2016 from Microcenter. Last night for the first time, Black screen and 100% full fans. It took me for a loop so I went to the internet and ended up seeing this effecting quite a few folks. Unfortunately, since it wasn't a 1080 FTW. I had to pay for advanced replacement :( The Customer service rep was very helpful though so there is that :) Hoping I get a good card back. Last four in the serial was in the 2000's.

Got my RMA and I have the same problem again...I'm getting sick of this...

It's getting ridiculous. How can only a small portion of cards be affected when a lot of people had the same problem with their RMA cards as well? I was loyal to EVGA, but what good is a great customer service if the replacements are defective as well?

Got another 1080 FTW Hybrid from Microcenter last night and so far so good, no BS100% yet during a battery of benchmarks, F1 2016, and Gears 4. My serial is 16825xxxxxx00495. I think there are more issues with these cards than just the BS100%, and they may all be related. I just returned a 1080 Classified due to the card hitting the voltage limit, power limit, and even temp limit while gaming...yet temps were under 70 degrees. I had massive stuttering when the core clock would drop down to base value. Granted this was with a mild OC. At stock settings, the core clock and voltage would still go down for no apparent reason (2012 to 1721 occasionally) and I'd still get stuttering. NVCP was set to "max performance."

I am curious about all of this now because my 1st 1080 Hybrid downclocked under load for no reason- it's a Hybrid, temps were under 60 degrees. And it had the BS100%. The 2nd card I had did not have BS100%, but the voltage would always fluctuate and core clock would downclock again for no reason.

My new Hybrid behaves very differently. I've only tried Heaven @ 1080p for 15 mins, Firestrike Ultra, Extreme, and basic, and Sky Diver. Also played F1 for an hour and a half. I have never, even once, seen the core clock drop even 1 mhz the entire time. And this is with an OC. Similarly, my voltage line in Precision monitor is a steady 1.093 the entire time the card is under full load during the tests and it doesn't fluctuate like all 3 prior cards. Lastly I've never hit the power, voltage, or temp limit in Precision with this card which caused massive stutter on the old cards due to downclocking when that happens.

Why is my current FTW card seemingly rock solid and 3 other separate cards (2 FTW) were all over the place?
