Shish , I would be happy if I could get Mafia 2 to run w/PhysX on in 4K . 2K thinks it's just stretching the engine too far . It can do 4K , but w/o any PhysX turned on . 1440 is the max it will run with PhysX . Anyways they gave me a steam key to Bio shock 1 , so I can get the free upgrade . Just had to send a picture of the retail disc & box . It purrs along just fine in 4K . I got a lot of games older from GOG (including the Leisure Suit Larry series) . TaleTale games just loves abandoning it's older games . Fortunately there is a fix to run the older Sam & Max series on steam . Old games rule (and cheaper) !

This is one game is just want to play again, unfortunately it doesnt roll nicely from Steam.

There is Nox freebie @ Origin, its nice hack n' slash. Westwood Studios.

I just installed Crysis again just for kicks. It's still a fun game.

Yes!! I still play plenty of my old games..... in fact I have my old NES hooked up in the living room for the kids when they come over but every once in a blue moon ill get silly and get on there and play a couple games. I find the barebones, down to the absolute necessities of it pretty fun sometimes. On PC I put the NWN games back on, empire earth and painkiller. If a lot of the old games had a graphics overhaul they would blow a lot of the newer games out of the water today just on story telling alone, imo.

I have a balance of old and new.  I will usually play something older and new at the same time...just go back and forth.

Day of the Tentacle was just remastered this year.  That is a great title and well worth the cost at GoG

I also go back and Play Tie Fighter and have tons of fun with that game.  The gameplay and soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. =)

I was driving around today (for work) and I drove by a place called "Retro Games Plus". I did a quick google search once I reached my destination and found one closer to my home. I stopped in and saw a ton of console games mostly old, some new. A lot of old PC games (Delta Force by NovaLogic), many in jewel cases. I didn't have time to look through them all but I'll definitely stop in there again. They also had Atari games, Lego and general game merchandise (like a Fallout PipBoy).

There is also a Game Exchange in my town but I never stopped in. I'll see if I could stop there on lunch tomorrow.

I still occasionally play Baldur's gate series, Icewind Dale, Diablo, Sacred and Age of Empires II. There's just something magical about those games..
