I just rec'd my 1060 SC from Newegg this afternoon and they're still coming with the .60 BIOS. I'll have to read through all of these emails and decide whether to do this tonight. :)
EDIT: I did end up doing the upgrade. IMO, the .62 0dB BIOS makes sense if your card is in a large computer box with lots of air flow. If you have it in a small mini-ITX case with lots of parts cramped together, maybe a constantly running fan makes more sense for you. It would be nice if EVGA would offer both online here, then you could decide. I was surprised how fast it flashed, at first I thought it didn't work.
FireStrike Extreme hit 75C, 38% fan speed, and 112.9% TDP according to GPU-Z. I wish I had tried it before the flash, but it is what it is. (Don't feel like playing with Afterburner right now, but might in the future as I used it on the old GTX 580).
