Glad to help.

To monitor all my components I mostly use CPUID HWMonitor, sometimes it gives false reading on new tech, and sometimes it doesn't properly read some components, but thats normal, all software based monitors do that. As for the temps, the GTX 1060 max temp according to nvidia is 94c, something between 65c-75c is desireable, between 75c-80c is warm-hot but ok, GPU's can take a lot of heat, more than 85c is like a NO NO, AT LEAST FOR ME. Just keep it between 60-80c and you are ok.

For the CPU, thats a whole 'nother story, CPUs don't tolerate the amount of heat a GPUs does. I can only tell you for sure about AMDs CPUs, due to the extensive testing, benching, OCing experience i have with them. AMD CPUs Max temps vary, 95W CPUs tend to tolerate temps up to 71c and 125w chips up to 61c according to AMD, but they BOTH start throttling at 70-71c XD. For Intel ones, I'm not that experienced with them but i bet some of the guys in these forums, are experts on them, so you might want to ask for another opinion or simply go to Intel's website and check your Processor specs there.

Thanks, I downloaded CPUID HWMonitor. Here is what it said, left = 1 hour for normal PC usage, (web/emails etc..), the right is abut 10mins of DOOM

Those temps while browsing web, emails are perfect for a 0 db/0 % fan. The ones playing Doom looks good, but try to play for more than 30 minutes, 10 minutes of game is not enough to heat up a GPU :P

In my opinion silent mode is very good, but 80 degrees in the stress is too much. EVGA Please !!! make the BIOS - silent at 55 C and 70 C in stress (~1700 rpm) (SC).

I just played World of Warcraft for about an hour and noticed when I took my headphones off that the 1060 SC fan was audible (in my silent pc), it was about 1,000 RPM and temp about 75 or so.
After about 30 secs it had dropped to 55 degrees and fan was silent again.

Can I use the firmware of 1060 SC in the normal version 1060, because I want to get the frecuency of the SC version but by default?

Thank you so much!

Can someone dump the original GTX 1060 SC bios for me, please.

Google for NVIDIA NVFlash 5.306 (I'm unable to post the link)

EDIT: Well, I tried to get EVGA to send me the original BIOS again, this time they sent me the one for the non-SC version.

At stock clocks, the NON-SC Card with maximum performance profile in nvidia, throttles like there is no hope in human kind XD... because it just overheat!! It hits 83c in Witcher 3 easy peasy (the default thermal limit according to msi afterburner and precision XOC) and start to throttles to cool itself down. The cooler in that card is not meant for overclock, hell i'm not sure if it can handle the gpu at stock settings... So if you want the superclocked bios for the normal card i suggest you invest in a cooler... Like the Accelero Mono plus... otherwise with the stock cooler you will get a THROTTLING FESTIVAL. Beware that raising the thermal limit in after burner or precision xoc IS NOT RECOMENDED FOR THAT CARD EITHER... i did, and got to 89c (the card max temp is 94c according to nvidia) in The Witcher 3 (stock clocks) with all settings in high and no hairworks @1080p on a well ventilated case (3x 120mm intake, 2x 140mm exhaust, 1x 200m exhaust)
