Thanks to EVGA Customer Service Team for sending me the lower fan speed bios 86.06.27.01.60. As lazarost said the newer always on fan bios has lower starting point at 25% in comparison to the old one at 43%. I would also like to say that the forum bios link should be updated with he newer bios.
Thanks evga again.

@MrSirMonocle
I am still waiting EVGA support to send me the newer bios but in the meantime can you tell me if in the newer vbios  is the fan able to go to 0 rpm while in manual mode ? Or is it like the original one with the fan locked to the minimum curve RPM?

The lowest I can make it go with afterburner is 21%.

Yes this has been resolved. I have sent you a PM, please let me know if you need the update so we can have this sent to you direct.

Can I also get the latest bios version? I have a AMD board and PrecisionX does not recognize my Evga card. Thank you.

Edit: Also the current (old) bios version in case something goes wrong and If I want to revert back to the old one.

Contact them directly rather than on the forum.

Because then people tend to put the wrong BIOS on a card or 'test things' and then complain about that.  eVGA are simply asking you get with them and verify the card so that you get the correct BIOS for your card.
