If EVGA can't sell the new Pascal Titan X then can they please design a Hybrid cooler for it? Please :)

Who's to say that the 1080 cooler won't work with it as it is?

Afterall, even the 980ti hybrid cooler worked with the 1080...  There's a handful of board users that are using this setup at the moment.

1080 only has 1 power connector. Titan has 2. Shroud is diff.

NVIDIA exclusive. Partners like EVGA aren't allowed to sell the new card. This is a real shame as EVGA came out with the Maxwell Titan X Hybrid which had the sweet cooler and higher stock clocks AND the awesome EVGA warranty + support.

EVGA Jacob verified this on the forum and on the live stream today.

So cut the shroud.... All in all, you are modifying an Nvidia branded component. Nvidia uses those tamper stickers to know if you removed the cooler, and your warranty is void. So the way I see it, if you can justify modifying a 1200 dollar graphics card, knowing you now have no warranty, you can also justify modding EVGA's cooler.

It has more cores.than the 1080, therefore the GPU block is bigger. Even if you cut the shroud, the heatsink might not be large enough.

I highly doubt the die is any different. Highly highly highly doubt it. I can almost 100% guarantee you they are the same size.

I'd like something that had a warranty. One of my titans broke and EVGA took great care of me. It's frustrating that EVGA won't be able to sell the card.

This really sucks... I really wanted to go Titan this round. I'd rather not spend 1200 on a gpu that isnt covered under EVGA
