If eVGA isn't selling a Titan X Pascal with attached Hybrid cooler then I am not buying the new Titan X Pascal. I will not pay $1200 for a video card I then have to modify and potentially void my warranty. I will just have to keep my current eVGA Titan X Maxwell Hybrid until one of the following happens:
  • My current card dies (Unlikely as that is as I've never had an eVGA card die plus it was a 10 year warranty)
  • My current card cannot handle 1080P
  • eVGA is allowed to sell the latest Titan with a hybrid cooler.
  • 1080 Ti card is released and eVGA sells it with a hybrid cooler.

1080p? Unless you're doing 200% DSR then you're going super overkill. Upgrade your monitor bro! Skip a GPU gen and spend that money on a decent monitor.

The 1080 card handles a lot of UHD content far better than I thought it would. The new Titan would likely add 25% or so to that, meaning (mostly) 60 FPS.

Unlikely ETA at this point since they are still trying to get the 1080 and 1070 Hybrid out the door.

I'm sorry, but I'm not giving into their obvious money grab. $1000 was a lot, but now they want $1200? Forget that.

AMD needs to so something very soon. There's no competition in the top tier GPU class.

The sad part is that people will buy this card up just like the OG Titan X. If it didn't sell well, they might reconsider their pricing and lower it. Instead, more than likely, it'll sell out everywhere and Nvidia well list their next Titan X at $1400-1500.

The average life span will only decrease too.

I am with you, I want to use this card at its full potential but without it running at 84c and fan speed above 80%! Please EVGA take my money!

Hey,

I'm just keeping the thread alive in case a EVGA rep feels like giving new info ;). We're a bunch waiting for that kit!. But i guess you're right.

GN did a nice Hybrid conversion on the Pascal TITAN X using a 980Ti cooler. These cards need better cooling to unleash it.
