Lol @ EVGA dropping the ball on this one.

Glad I went elsewhere for my cooler.

Extremely helpful post - thank you!

Hes not wrong though, the card has been out for over a month now and the  subtle changes they would need to make on the 1080 kit to make it fit a Titan PCB are very small. They quite literally need to remove material from the 1080 kit baseplate to make it fit a Titan and they could be selling coolers for Titan owners. I still gave EVGA my money to cool my Titan but I really feel they did drop the ball.

It would be plastered all over the place if there was any news...

About to order a 1080 kit. One last questions before I do so. Is the EVGA Hybrid Titan X Pascal kit will be release or no. A simple YES or NO please.

Thanks

Agreed.

All I know is:

1. NVIDIA should be ashamed of putting a hair-dryer cooler on a $1200 card
2. The noise is starting to make my ears bleed
3. I need either a hybrid solution (or a 1080 kit in stock), or I am going to bite the bullet and drop $1000 on a custom water cooling system.

Pretty much confirmed that the Hybrid Kit for the Titan X Pascal is coming. We just don't know when :)

That is me over tweeter. :)

Their will be a Hybrid kit for Titan X pascal but no ETA.

After seeing the installation guide for the 1080, they should just have changed the mounting holes on the shroud instead of doing an all new base plate. It would have fited bolt on to the Titan X and the possible 1080 ti and would have been way more easier to install like the other kit sold for the 900 series.

Oh yeah it actually is haha. Didn't realize. Just so happen to scroll through Twitter and saw that the same day you posted!

I do have to say thank you Oliver for asking Jacob and getting this to us. Appreciate it, man!

Well I guess there seems to be something that is putting some hindrance for the Kit to come out. Whatever it is, I'll just wait for it now. Since it IS coming, sooner or later.

I will probably get my Titan on monday. So I will see(hear) then how loud the card is. I'm sitting on an EVGA GTX 770 SC right now. It's quite loud in today's standard but nothing that I can't live with.

The titan is medium loud when you use it stock but the clock will be reduced a lot and so the performance. If you want more fps you need to use fan control and their it become really loud compare to other custom cooler like evga one. I play mainly with my headphones on and I use the control fan. At 80 degres the fan spins at 80%. It keeps my overclock bouncing from 1949 to 1974mhz. I saw on some video guys that already have waterblcok on the card, they reach 2038mhz so not huge improvement over my clocks but without the 747 blower fan near me...

I will buy the kit when it will comes out for sure!! Lets hope it will be soon! :)

Why should EVGA hurry to produce a cooler for a card that nVidia won't let them market? For what it's worth, I have a 1080 Hybrid kit on a Titan XP and the base plate is not a problem. I used a Dremel tool on the shroud but if one doesn't care about having a shroud it isn't important.
