Wait if I saw good on EVGA GTX1080 FTW Hybrid and memory will be cool.
Some plate cover video memory and temperature will be good.

I saw that as well but the mem doesn't need really much cooling to begin with.

It's better than naked. People love to push video memory +500 offset and even if no real improvements.
I keep my memory on stock and she can 200MHz (+400).
People on that way only increase chance to video memory die, improvement is so little and it's not worth of risk.

Just bought my parts to make a CPU, and two GPU custom loop from EK. Can't wait!

Honestly, EVGA is awesome but they've been very slow in their product rollouts this year for some reason. They are still trying to get their 1080/1070 hybrids out the door; yet alone news of their custom 1080 block for custom loop systems. Seeing how frustrated everyone in the hybrid forum is, I'm not waiting till Christmas for EVGA to *possibly* release a hybrid cooler for the Titan Xp, a card they don't even sell.

This is a sad day as the only EVGA part in my computer will be their HB SLI bridge.

So guys, just finished installing and testing the Arctic Cooling Hybrid kit.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: Temps were hitting 84 Celsius when running 2560x1440 max graphics (except MSAA because that sucks right now in Deus Ex).
With the cooler they now cap at 54 Celsius AND I gained an extra 8 fps on average. I can now also overclock without much fear.

All in all, the cooler is working great in my opinion. I will say this...this thing is UGLY, if that's going to bother you then stay away from this cooler. If you prefer performance over looks I say grab this thing for $99 you can't beat it.

MAYBE I will pick up some other hybrid cooler in the future if it boasts better cooling and looks nicer.

Do you think your results were better than with any evga's hybrids?
Also what were your Desu Ex average FPS before applying the cooling, when you had 84 C?

The regular EVGA 1080 AiO Hybrid kit works fine, but it takes some modifications to get it to fit.

You have to cut the shroud around the second power connector, and cut out a square near the vrm for what I assume is part of the extra power phase. You also have to pull the thermal pads off of the original shroud and line them up on the EVGA shroud since it's meant to cover the VRAM of the 1080, not 12GB on the Titan.

That being said, it works quite well, and will work in SLI.

Im at the point of decision. Buy a 1080 Aio Hybrid kit and mod it. Or wait and hope to have one day an answer from evga if yes or no they will release a Titan X Pascal hybrid kit.

A simple yes or no is all we need...

Hey,

I've stopped worrying. If you're going to spend 1000$ on a gpu get a ekwb AiO for gpu.

Go hard or go home.

I put the EVGA 1080/1070 Hybrid on my Titan X and I couldnt be happier! It was a learning process because I have not attempted something like this before but it wasn't bad and I would totally do it again!
