I'm thinking you still need to raise the vcore more. You should try testing the cpu in another computer if you know anyone that has a lga 775 motherboard.

Yes, I'm planning on bumping the vcore up one more notch. Just wanted to run MemTest first.

Thanks for all the help you are giving me on this!

Just bumped up the Vcore voltage to 1.3375v
Also removed the Hauppauge PVR card.
Ran the Intel CPU Diagnostic and it Passed all tests.
Here are the core temps while the Intel test was running:

If you don't want to continue increasing the vcore you could always buy another Q6600 for testing.

I'm thinking of going up one more notch on the vcore voltage.

I have been thinking of replacing the motherboard and the CPU. There have been a few used ones on Craigslist, but that will have to wait till next month after buying the EVGA 750 Watt G2 PSU.

Ran MemTest86 last night for 8 hours with no errors. Which raises the question: How can the computer run for 8 hours with no BSoD crash while running MemTest86, but does crash within a few minutes of running System 7 and IE11 while looking at websites?  Seems strange that WhoCrashed is reporting a Fatal Hardware Error that only shows up while running S7.

CPU most likely isn't stable under windows environment. Have you tried running in safe mode with networking to see if you get the same bsod?

Go Sajin, wow 5 weeks and counting - tough nut to crack

When was the last clean install of Win 7 ?

Seagate 500 GB HD X2
Lots of other HD's
MediaSonic HD Bay with 4X SATA HD's on USB 3 port
LG BD Burner SATA
LG DVD Burner SATA

How many HD on this MB -- in your OP you said "Lots" How many & IDE or SATA ?

IDE drive -- replace ribbon cables (easy if you have spare ones)

Also, might want to disconnect all but your boot drive while doing all this testing - lighten the load on the PSU

Original System was probably close to 4 years old. It was getting increasingly unstable, so I did a fresh install on a new HD about 2 months or so ago.
After a few days, it seemed to be more unstable than the previous one.

Yes, I had a ton of drives connected to the motherboard - 2 IDE storage drives, and 4 SATA drives.
In the past few weeks I have disconnected all but the C drive as I was concerned about power draw - has made no difference.
I still have 4 SATA drives in the MediaSonic NAS box which is connected via a USB3 connector and is powered by its own power supply cube. It can also be turned off.
I have kept Windows and all drivers up to date.
Main problem seems to be the Display Driver Errors that constantly plague me. Screens will flash black and may or may not come back, if they don't, I'm forced to do a reset to reboot the computer.

Often while watching YouTube videos in IE11 I will get a message saying that the video is no longer playable. Sometimes I can open a new window and play it, but opening new tabs will not allow play. Usually at that point I have to reboot to see the videos again.  I can often open the same video in Firefox and it will play just fine.

Same thing happens with Facebook videos. Except that the screen in the video window goes black, but you can hear the audio just fine. Again, rebooting will fix this.

After talking to 2 different computer techs, we came to the conclusion that it was a failing PSU that was causing all these problems, especially the random reboots that were occurring.
I now have a nice new EVGA 750 Watt G2, so we can pretty much rule that out now.

One thing I've noticed in the last couple weeks is that IE11 seems to be running very slow. Webpages seem to take forever to open. Right clicking on photos and such will take 2 or 3 seconds before the menu opens up. A lot of webpage have to be opened several times before the become functional. Drudge takes 30 to 60 seconds before I can scroll the page or click on a link. Never used to take this long.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do next.

Have you run a virus scan ?

What security software do you use ?

Works in FF (which I like) but IE 11 will fail

OC software like MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X, should be uninstalled first, then DDU drivers, then reinstall OC software - for best stability

I run DDU, and custom install the EVGA / Nvidia drivers --- Only selecting PhysX and the actual GPU (graphics) driver, none of the other "stuff" and select clean install. ( I do NOT load GeForce Experience software, Nvidia 3D drivers, Nvidia Sound )

I'd totally disconnect the NAS while testing your PC

What are Temps like for the GPU & CPU when it  fails ?

Use the free version of these software programs

Only options left are...

#1 Run the system in windows safe mode to see if the 124 blue screen goes away.
#2 Keep increasing the vcore to see if the 124 blue screen goes away.
#3 Test your cpu in another rig to see if you can replicate the 124 blue screen.
#4 Use a known good working Q6600 in your machine to see if the 124 blue screen goes away.
#5 Replace the motherboard to see if the 124 blue screen goes away.

Replacing the video card should be your last concern as a unstable cpu will make the entire system unstable. Could you upload your latest .dmp to a file hosting website so I can download it and check it out?
