vaxman65For me, my all-in price with Newegg was going to be only $10 less than EVGA once shipping was factored in (cheapest way). I would rather go this way than get stuck in back-order limbo.

Noted the same thing (except for the basic shipping vs 3-day 'business') and dropped the extra $10. Order went through via PayPal (US). I've never spent this much on a GPU before. I've always stuck to the 'entry level performance' tier (x60/Ti). I felt like I was 10 lbs lighter when the order went through. lol

Deep breaths... Counting on this thing lasting at least 10 years at a price like this. :P

So... "Orders placed after 2:00 PM PT will ship the following business day."

Since availability wasn't until 5:12~ EDT (2:12~ PDT)... they ship tomorrow, right?

Might not be home if it arrives on Saturday morning/afternoon (within 3 business days) for whatever reason. <_<

I submitted my order with CC and then it took me back to the product page but I havent received a confirmation email.  I also see that EVGA put a $1 transaction on my card, does that mean I finally got my 1080 FTW????

EVGA hit me for the $1 and the full amount by now.

Same with me.  There's a $1 charge followed by a full amount charge.

@EVGA_JacobF I ordered a GTX 1080 from the EU store today and it still says "Order Status: Waiting to Process". When can I expect the processing to be finished??

Have you gotten a confirmation email yet?  Its not a big deal but it would be nice to know either way so if they get more stock i dont end up with 2 or 3 cards because I didnt know for sure...maybe that wouldnt be so bad after all. 

I got the confirmation of receipt of my order, but not of shipping. Ironically, two minutes later, I got the auto-notify of stock availability that I signed up for weeks ago. Glad I saw the note from Jacob and did not rely on the auto-notify!

 Well I'm guessing I got screwed because I haven't received any emails and there is only the $1 charge still on my card... 

So I have the $1 charge on my CC but how will I know if everything processed correctly on my FTW order?  I looked at my account order history and it shows 0 current/past purchases.

I tried to order GTX 1080 FTW the first seconds it go on air, TRIED 5 TIMES with paypal, Each time when I clicked 'confirm' button to pay on paypal - I got kicked back to EVGA website, To the products page. You can understand why i'm pissed.

Edit: Forgot to mention that each time the order didnt process, I had to start all over again, And I did everything super quick. Weird.

Log in on Evga, then go to Member, and "My Order History"
