Managed to find this thread after placing a 'pre-order' at NewEgg.

1070 FTW.

Hopefully I'm not waiting too long. Had a GTX 660 Ti die on me (MSI, lower-end model) and I've been getting by on the i5-3570K's iGPU (HD 4000) for the past 2.5 months.

This'll be my first EVGA graphics card. Usually stick with ASUS (prior to the MSI purchase), but chose EVGA for what I've heard about their customer service. That's really all that matters with brands after a quick examination of failure rates.

Here's to (hopefully) 10+ years of Star Citizen at 60 FPS and everything else I play at 144+ FPS. lol

I can confirm that the EU PayPal Pre-Order checkout process is alive and running.  If you were notified that your Pre-Order is ready for payment then the option to make payment as linked on the email will not be available. Thank you for your patience.

It makes me really nervous that Newegg left the 1070 FTW backorders open all night. I wonder if we're not going to see another 1-month wait because of pre-order debacle over this.
