This is getting frustrating. New stock keeps getting sent to Newegg for new customers, and even on EVGA.com, but sites that I ordered from at CDW.com which have back orders of 100+ units haven't been getting anything. What gives? This is getting ridiculous.
Yep. Seems like because Newegg is around the corner from EVGA, they either get preference or Newegg is the only shop who knows how to handle order in demand. Which seems bizarre. Newegg is literally the only 3rd party site that has been shipping EVGA products reasonably or even beyond expectations.
Either Amazon & B&H & other sites are requesting incorrect amounts of stock from EVGA, or EVGA simply isn't shipping the quantities they should be to them. I've read B&H has blamed EVGA on /r/Nvidia, Amazon says their never received sufficient stock from EVGA - whether that's theirs or EVGA fault they won't say, and it seems like Canada & EU have been left in the dark for the most part unless people bug Jacob on twitter.
Idk what it says about Amazon that 8 different reps can't give the same expected date, but for some reason I feel like a business like Amazon isn't going to "order incorrect" amounts like a lot of people have assumed. I don't doubt the possibility, but neither EVGA nor Amazon are owning up to it. August 15th seems like an absurd amount of time to wait for these cards considering Newegg keeps selling them every day to new customers. That's over 2 months of waiting for cards that other people got without waiting at all.
Either way - I'm most mad at Nvidia for clearly not having the quantity of chips they should've expected. EVGA isn't the only one having issues keeping up with orders.
