I'd be willing to give it a try, but I've only had my motherboard for 2 years, and the worst part of PC building is the damn motherboard.
I also need to get an easier case, or mod the one I have. When I had to install my CPU tower heatsink, I had to remove the entire motherboard just to access the back to install the brackets. V_V
Newer versions of my case add features like a hole behind the motherboard for that very reason. I still have to determine if this case needs a 3rd fan in the front, since I'm going with ACX cooling for the GPU this time around.

Jacob should delete all this bs and leave stock questions and answers in this thread. Its getting hard to find legitimate stock info.


Whens the next batch of SC cards going out to B&H , Amazon ?

I placed an order of 3x GTX 1070's on the 17th on amazon, still hasn't shipped out.

lol you're right diftow, I feel confidence with evga, i never use AMD, only for all of my cousins build
i don't know why evga is short on demand this time. On the other hand,  msi 1080 and 1070 gaming x is in stock of Frys and microcenter already

It's Nvidia's fault, and it isn't the only issue I've had with Nvidia.

1. Charging people $50 for a license for "3D Play" on a $500 GPU. Just extortion right there.

2. Terrible drivers. Their drivers for Windows 10 were broken long after the official release had begun. And prior to Windows 10, I've experienced issues with games that were driver related as well, countless times. It wasn't the games either, it was Nvidia drivers. My old BFG 7300 GT was a great card, until I updated it to newer Nvidia drivers. Nvidia turned that card from working, to defective.
I'm old enough to remember a time where it was hard to come by driver updates. You had to install via physical media. Somehow companies managed to deliver products that worked without being able to provide bug fixes anytime anywhere. Now we have fast internet and automatic drive installation, and it's worse?

Nvidia is a powerful giant in bed with an even bigger giant (Intel). They are not some amazing company, they just get all the profit to fund the majority of GPUs on the market.
Would be nice to see companies like EVGA sell other GPUs. I'd like to see more than just AMD and Nvidia as well.

If you would do some of your own research from google, you will come across some different articles saying that TSMC might be at fault, not Nvidia. TSMC manufactures the silicone chips for Nvidia, and the claim is out there that "they cannot produce the chips fast enough for these cards". But as a couple people have mentioned (they know who they are) said that you should take this information "as a grain of salt", but let me remind you there is no other information out there to explain why there is not enough stock available. And... "assuming" that you will ask why Nvidia is not giving you any information, they won't. Nvidia is not going to come out and admit any responsibility because of the GPUS not coming available. You will get the run-around. Good luck.

They certainly didn't have an issue making those FE cards huh? It is clear they are trying to sell out on those FE cards before fully releasing the other models, after all FE = more profit for them

Those cards were already made during launch and they had time to prep for it, and now that everything is sold out, they're scratching their heads trying to come up with these shipments, and they can't because they're having some kind of "difficulties" that they won't specify on. Knowing this, I would prepare yourselves for the worst.

1 FTW, 2 Superclocked ,.. still in limbo with no eta from B&H since June 6th. Canceled my standard ACX 3.0 card. Was supposed to ship out in mid July ... Now that date has changed to "whenever h311 freezes over". Picked up 2 gigabyte 1080's a few days ago...may just cancel both cards and go with gigabyte extremes. Just plain tired of waiting.

I gave up because I was tired to wait – and this was actually good: I bought the MSI 1070 Gaming X which is better because, as you can in the reviews read, of the price, noise, temperature, 8+6 pin-connectors and potentially OC and the service must be also good. This round, according to me, won MSI.

Its shameful how evga 1080 gtx ftw stocks are....
 

Well I don't know about US but some other big brands aren't doing much better here in EU seeing their custom cards only for preorder, dates pushed back, unkown availability etc. If anyone knows any better I d be interested to know, for reasons >

Yeah , I hear ya . Just canceled my FTW order and went with a Gigabyte Extreme. My be in 2 weeks but I got a confirmation enough supply will in . So I'm happy with the date.
 
 
    If Jacob can't give an update on shipments to B&H sometime today, I'm canceling my 3rd Evga 1080. (Gpu's for client builds + my personal Pc's) I know for a fact I can get Gigabyte G1 cards before next week, HOWEVER , I have no clue when Evga will be instock anywhere anytime soon. I can't do business on speculations.
