As for the EU region customers, shipments take a while and experience delays. Seemingly, over the few years I have been around, it would seem that everything ships through Brea, California.  Once it arrives there, the cards are loaded with BIOS and all other testing is completed.  Once that is done, it is moved to a shipping port, and sent out from there.  When you claim, "But asus, gigabyte.... have shipping around the world.." yeah, they also have AMD at their side as well and are much larger companies with my lower customer service standards. Personally, ASUS returned broken motherboards to me multiple times, and I had to pay shipping Each and every time, and they refused to help.  EVGA has never done that to me, as they replace the item in question and help any way they can.

Hopefully stock comes back in soon.

You have to be fair in that it is a new node process.  Otherwise, yes.

Completely forgot about the node change this time around.  It's good to see that it takes two of these to beat a single Titan X.. I would think that would mean they require greater stocks for sure.

I feel like I deserve something for all this waiting. Like many others I off loaded my gaming cards and have been in withdrawal.

No, you don't.  You chose to sell off your cards before having new ones so that you made as much as you could.  I don't like the delays either, but no one deserves anything.  And I'm not pointing a finger at you directly, but at this mentality in general.  It is running rampant.

Well in my case it was a GTX 680 (the "s" on cards was a typo) and a relative's card died so I gave it to them. I went back to a GTX 280... poorly driving a 43" 4k monitor (at 1080).
As for the wait, it was a pre-order. I knew there would be a wait. I was expecting ~2 weeks based on Jacob's early posts. I didn't realize that non evga.com customers were second class citizens.
I'll keep waiting for now.

Yeah exactly, I made deals, sold old pc parts since I m making and new one and have everything else for almost a month now, promised people stuff etc. Now on a crappy 12+ years old laptop. I kinda expected shortages and boards to trickle down slightly though was hopeful since I was some of the first in line over here, but not a single card all this time now outside the US? It's kinda outrageous...I don't know exactly the timeframes between nvidia and partners but I guess they ought to also have had time before the 27th to prepare and test custom boards as well as prepare stock and supplies for the launch no?
I ll give it less than a week for the shipment jacob mentioned but if new delays appear I ll probably grab a FE(I guess that was the plan all along) and call it a day, and maybe WC it sometime down the line...

Does anyone else chuckle when they read this disclaimer? Considering 80% of the traffic in this thread is dedicated to a video card with a questionable initialism in its product name.

One thought that I had on why newegg is getting cards and Amazon isn't, could be that newegg placed there full stock order before Amazon did their pre orders and that's why newegg is getting the cards first.

Please explain what is questionable about EVGA, GeForce, GTX, 1080/1070, Stock, or Thread.  I am curious what you are seeing that no one else is seeing?  You may want to read the thread title again.

Also, as the user above me stated.. FTW isn't questionable as it stands for For the Win.  For it to be questionable, you would need to rearrange the letters, which would cause your post to be removed.

If I can't pick up a Nvidia card by the weekend, then AMD gets my business. Nvidia screwed up big time.

Lot's of people say that.  You should take the time to see how many people regret that exact decision.. It's actually impressive how many threads you can find from people that came back within a few weeks.
