I haven't read the whole thread (36 pages, yo) but if anyone is wondering about UK availability, here's what I know so far (this is specific to the FTW and Classified, since those are the two I'm looking at:

* Amazon - Just says "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available."
* OCUK - Pre-Order. Originally had a date of the 22nd but that seems to have since been removed
* Scan - Currently saying "Item due on 15 July 2016."
* eBuyer - "We are expecting this item on: Friday, 22nd July"
* Novatech - "16 Due 15 July"

I'm not sure how many of those dated ones are accurate though, or whether they will be instantly sold out due to pre-orders. I haven't pre-ordered as I've only heard about this card in the last week so just keeping my fingers crossed for not too long queues now!

Well my Scan order from the 28th of May has changed 4 times. (Overdue then changed to a later date) :-/ So who knows at this stage.

A lot of people are giving in to these EBAY scalpers.  It's why I suggested before to limit one card per costumer.   These people probably buy two at a time to either keep one and sell the other or sell both on EBAY and Amazon.  The lowest "buy it now" on EBAY for a FTW card is $869.  That's just ridiculous.   Don't give in to the hype.  Play your games with what you have and pretty soon there will be plenty of 1080 GPUs for all of you.

What about people who want SLI - Usually 2-way but potentially up to 4-way? In my case, I'm planning on buying two since I'm building a PC for my g/f and also want a card to upgrade my own PC - would that too be forbidden? Scalpers suck but it's unfair to punish the genuine buyers just to stop people buying and re-selling - which is within their legal right to do (again, sucky, but that's life). I do agree on a reasonable cap though to stop people mass-buying and selling all the stock themselves - maybe 4 cards since that's the limit for a single PC fully SLI'd up.

BTW Just want to point out that I agree that these scalpers are crappy and people should not support them and should wait for the proper channels - not to mention you'll get no support or warranty from a scalper. Just pointing out that 1 card per consumer might be a bit limiting for many who could have legitimate need or use for 2 or more cards. Cap at 4 per person (or per household) seems reasonable IMHO.

I didnt do to bad. I sold my opened near new 1080 Strix OC for 819.00. Then purchased the sealed FTW for 810.00 with 2 day shipping.
I sell with Ebay sometimes. At a 810.00 sell, you are making very little money concidering 10% ebay fee, Paypal fee and shipping.

It is absurd what they were doing, wish there was some way for the vendors to be able to control that. I guess if folks quit paying those scalpers they would end up not selling any...

Sadly Amazon allows it's sellers to do the same thing. EVGA has been working with Amazon to try and stop these "scammers" from ripping people off.

Have you guys noticed what Amazon is doing? The Zotac extreme for like $878.00. A few have sold. SOLD by Amazon. Pure Greed.

Just looked, Amazon either sold them out or took it down.
