gpu-z developers probably need to differentiate between the two types of bridges that run at 650mhz since the new hb bridges have twice the data rate.

This is what I'm hoping my hb bridge will do for me , which should be sitting on my door step when I get off work today , I'm currently running a single sli ribbon cable and I'm getting right at 60 fps on ultra in the The Division , and crazy fps in Bf4 totally maxed out 140+ fps 4k not sure if the pic uploaded but it shows 57 fps in the division 4k ultra setting with a single sli ribbon about the same with dual ribbons and big jump to 73.fps with the new Hb bridge that's a big difference and what I'm hoping to see

Okay I can now confirm that in the division I was getting avg 55-60 fps at ultra setting but now with my new Hb sli bridge I am now seeing 70-80 fps that is a huge increase and I'm so happy that I got that Hb bridge not only am I getting a 20 fps increase but it's running so much smoother it even looks better The colors are more vibrant and shaper ! I only had a single ribbon sli bridge to test I didn't have 2 , I'm gonna run some more benchmarks later tonight

For $40+shipping, the HB bridge is worth it.  I see smoother and higher fps running 7680x1440 at 120Hz than a single flex bridge.  I actually held on to Crysis 3(unopened) until I replaced my old 3930 w/ 680SLI.  Using ULMB with an Eizo with 2 PG279Q on the sides.  Granted, I had to turn down AA, but everything else is on ULTRA or highest setting and I get at least 55-60fps on the most detailed levels that would normally get 27-35 using max AA settings in Crysis 3 surround gaming.  This is on my new 5960x setup at 4.7GHz.  I didn't think a future capped Titan would be better than 1080 SLI.

Only minor issue is FTW SLI generates some heat(72*/65*) and I got 8 case fans and an EK 360 push/pull(6 more 120s) in a Corsair 900D.  Fans on 100%(gaming mode) with room ambient at ~23*c.   Total system power on my UPS peaks at 860 watts load.  Never thought I'd reached my capacity from my 1500va UPS with only 1 pc on it.  A good problem to have...

I have an open order with Amazon for an HB bridge since June 30 all the while saying it should ship by Aug 2nd, and now Amazon says it won't arrive until Sept 1 - Oct 13!   Seriously?  Why is manufacturing so slow for these?

I have two 980s but I am thinking of getting two 1080s in the future.  Does this new bridge work for 980s?     Also, I have the band type bridge now.  What is the performance difference of that and this new bridge?  Is it worth getting now for me?

I did some testing with an LED bridge and the HB bridge: http://forums.evga.com/Results-of-testing-with-a-HB-bridge-VS-LED-bridge-m2524792.aspx

there are differences between the two, a little at 4k and a fair bit at 5k and 8k, no changes at 1440p however

take in mind that the jump from a flexible bridge will be even larger than this (I didn't a flexible bridge just yet however)

So the 72 C is the top card and the 65 C is the bottom card I am assuming, is this a 1 or 2 slot space setup?  I have a single 1080 FTW right now and with the fan at 80% playing Witcher 3, it tops out at 71C.  I have a 750D Airflow edition with 2 front 140s and 1 140 at the back and a Corsair H110i v2.  Seeing how people report between 10 and 20 C added temp to the top card, I am a bit worried.

Yes, top card... after I moved (3) DP monitors to bottom card and added squirrel cage fans blowing towards the cards in my 900D at +75 core/+500 mem stayed in the mid 60s during stress tests when all case fans at 100%.  Dual ftw with monitors in top card when SLI first installed made top card run in the low-mid 80s.  +50core/+470 mem.  That's when I moved the monitors and added the blower fans that were directed to the 100mm GPU fans.  Originally, I wasn't planning to SLI FTWs, but had an opportunity.  The HB does make a noticeable difference between the standard flex bridge at 7680x1440p 120Hz.

That's a 1 slot spacing, right? Can you link to those squirrel cage fans? Sick setup sir!
