Are all these numbers under windows?  Linux should add another 10-15% if its works properly

Correct, though I wasn't able to get the Nvidia driver installed... most likely due to me not knowing how to properly.

Looks interesting, I have 2 machines folding.  One with a Titan and my main rig with EVGA 980ti and EVGA 980.  I get about 1mill ppd between all 3.  Plan is Titan goes to son for gaming rig, 980 goes to Titan box and 1080 FTW and 980TI stay in my main box.  Figure I should get about another 600k PPD a day.

Nice good to see the 1070 can crank out about double of what my 970 SSC does.

OK, ran another 9 units @100% power and the conclusion is at best a 10% improvement when directly comparing unit 9704 before and after. at worse only 5% improvement on the group avg if you remove the unusually high PPD unit 9205.

SO, those numbers should be good enough to say that at best a 1070 may get you around 600K PPD, after a little OCing.

Are these new card's power settings different? All my previous cards ran at 100% power setting right out of the box. Were you trying something different?

9158  x18 core = 471689 for a 980 ti  (so its 30k points less then the 9157)

10489 = 493380

and eats almost twice the amount of electricity.

Chris21010OK, i got a video for you to watch and i think you'll be as perplexed as i currently am about this power issue.

in short, if you want 100% GPU utilization you'll have to open a youtube video, pause it, and leave it there. otherwise it will drop right back down to ~60%.

dont ask me why or how it just is.

In a day or two I should be able to run some 1070 tests of my own. Getting excited while waiting!
