At 43 pounds it is close to the weight of a Cosmos II or Corsair 900D. So I am guessing that it more metal then plastic.

But that is only a guess.

How come there isn't an answer to the million dollar question? Is this thing a $250 piece of plastic or is it actually metallic? Or some mixture of plastic and metallic?

I am getting this gut feeling you want everyone to make orders and then these cases are gonna show up and half of them will have extensive damage from shipping these large plastic cases and plastic fins then RMA's will be back ordered and, I see a disaster coming..so what's the deal? Metal, plastic, or some kind of hybrid thing?

He also said that Cases would be sent out in July to reviewers and that we can cancel our pre-orders should we feel the need.

I'm sure by the ship date we will have all the information we will ever need.

Well that is kind of my point...by the ship date...which is past the cancel date, but regardless of that, I have about $5500 in parts here, another $3000 I need to order because they either just launched or about to, all just waiting to be put in something. I saw this thing pop up at CES and decided to wait until summer to build this new machine. Figured it was worth waiting for the 6950x and this case, those were the two main reasons I put this off. And they said "it will be aluminum" at CES so yeah I got excited, an all metal case like that would be amazing...(Yeah the 1080 and 1070 is cool but we all know the 980ti hybrids will get the job done so I wasn't really waiting for that launch) and now here we are at pre-order and we don't have clear shipping info, we don't have the structural diagram, we have vague comments and some measurements...that's not enough to drop $200...especially when I can have a metallic case here in less than a week for that price. That's the bunch I have in my panties...I really want to like this case and order it but this just pisses me off. And when some savvy motivated crack pot UPS or FedEx driver here in Los Angeles decides to just toss my box around and throw it off the back of his truck cause he has 237 more deliveries to make within an hour, and I end up with a box full of broken fins because they were made of plastic, I'm gonna be really pissed off and demanding a refund...ok you get my point...but seriously, I want to find a way of getting this case, if parts are plastic fine, which parts? I will drive to Newegg and pick it up at Will Call but I need to know if that's an option on a pre-order.

I mean, these guys managed to break 2 of the 6 Noctua fans I ordered, the Corsair Link is no longer in its box, it came in a bag and missing parts and the instructions and warranty info, and the h115i cooler was cracked...these drivers in LA don't care about our stuff and complaining to the companies (as I'm sure everyone on here knows) is a waste of time. That's why I need to know exactly what this case is made of and how I can prevent it from touching some delivery drivers hands if need be and save myself the hassle.

Well I can't speak for the US but over here in the UK we have the oppurtunity or so it has been promised to cancel our pre-order prior to shipping when we receive an email with an updated price that includes shipping. If we deem the updated price too high we are free to cancel. I cannot see it being any different for the rest of the world.

That's in August - several weeks to a month after the reviewed cases will have started to appear online.

You will have plenty of time to watch videos and read reviews that will start coming out in July to make your decision and if you don't like the case then cancel your pre-order before it ships in August.

Yes, you can cancel preorders at anytime.

The cancel date would basically be the same as the ship date - so you'll have plenty of time to cancel it.  Also shipping costs for the US are quoted while going through the preorder page.  Otherwise I do agree with the huge lack of information that's being provided ahead of the pre-order (which is why I went with a different case anyway)...  BUT you'll have a month before it ships to see reviews and decide if you don't like it at which point you can still cancel it.

Would love to order but I two things are keeping me from it.
-"Some parts metal some parts ABS" how about we reply to customers with actual information, not like you would reply to someone quickly on a street. What is metal, what is plastic, it's really not a hard question, and one you should answer to since it was asked more than once.
-I see you listed Toronto as a HUB, should I order now and pick $200 shipping ? Will I get emailed with actuall shipping cost before you ship ? Or will it ship without notifying me charging me $200 in shipping ? Don't feel like taking a risk here.

also need to know this info - I currently have mine set to ship to an American address for pick up but if there is going to be a reasonable rate CAD shipping option with Toronto hub I would much rather do that.

Yes they sent out emails. You can also verify the pre-order by clicking on the "Member" tab at the top of the screen and selecting "My Order History" then selecting the "pre-order" tab.
