Still no reaction from EVGA about the orders that have 0 dollar shipping...
We legit get free shipping then? Or are we gonna get rejected in august?

I am close to preordering, but with no info on shipping cost for Greece, I am not so sure. If it is more than 80 euros, then its a no go for me.

Is there any update on the shipping ?

Um, is there an optical drive bay? If there isn't this case will not suit the needs of many..

Edit; Guess not. Really disappointing!

hi !

or use this BW-12D1S-U Lite

I was on the fence, but decided this case is too gorgeous and perfect for my next build.  I can live with an external optical drive like above (thx for the suggestion!).  +1 preorder completed.  Now, I just have to wait.

Cheers

Just got an email back from support regarding the 0 euro shipping.
he shipping costs will be calculated after the product is available - you will get an email, on which you would need to confirm the address, then you will get the costing for the Shipping.

So basically we wont know until somewhere in August whether its worth it.
If shipping pushes it over regular sales price, you better believe I want to cancel, EVGA.

I feel you.
Can they really not have a shipping estimate at least, in this (Deleted for Foul Language) day and age? They have the weight, dimensions, what country it's going to...
It's like, oh your shipping total is 0 as you add it to your basket, you make payment all looks good still 0, and then confirmation says, we'll be in touch with an updated invoice! Specifically shipping.

I just want a bit of clarity is all. I mean whats the point of having a preorder discount if the shipping costs are gonna be more than what you get on the discount.
If its gonna be equal or more than regular sales price, I might as well just order it along with all my other parts and get free shipping from my vendor.
So.. be chill, EVGA.

Personally I actually really like that there is no bays for optical drives in the way. I don't like using bay reservoirs, so for me they are just in the way.

consider the following -

a) aimed at PC gaming enthusiasts, not average consumer (much less likely to need an optical bay on a daily basis)

b) that crowd they are aimed at is very likely to own more than one PC, if they *really* need to retrieve something off an optical disc they can use another PC. (or an external drive - I gave one to my sister-in-law a few years ago when she got one of those super slim laptops as her new PC and realized to her horror that they don't come with optical drives at all anymore)

c) all that said, if you need an optical drive for daily use, this is probably not the case for you! I don't think it's a deterrent to many who would be interested in the cases though. I've always had to dremel the damn things out to make room for bigger rads, so this is a nice feature imo!

We have 4 rigs in the house, there is about 41 bay spaces available.  Total optical drives in the rigs = zero.  :)

Do I need an EVGA motherboard to get all benefits of this case ? as I have a brand new ASUS x99 motherboard.
