EVGA GTX Hybrid
Well, just pre-ordered my DG-87. Everything went well.

But got this message at the end:
"EVGA will send you an email with updated shipping cost and grand total along with payment information"

This why I tend not to pre-order or buy from official sites as you have no clue what they will charge for shipping...but I've got a new platform and PSU going in and I REALLY don't want to assemble my rig twice so need this ASAP.

When are these expected to hit online stores anyway? If we who pre-ordered, 'get' them in August which seems like for ever....

It is forever, but you will check here and there , and the next thing you know there will be an email.
Telling you how much shipping costs... go to work a few more times and BAM !   Here's your case !

this is useful for archiving all your data, the cloud is dangerous for all your data picture/movies/musics , I have made my experience with mega upload
good price for 1.25TB

No its not.. 26,49 euro for the disks plus 70 euro for the burner, so 96,49 euros for 1.25Tb.
A 3Tb drive is most cost efficient at 0.028ct per Gb, and for 3Tb worth of bluray youd pay 0.044ct per Gb.
So a harddrive is cheaper, plus they are reusable and much easier and faster to access.
Bluray disks also suffer from something called data rot, where disks go corrupt over time.

In almost every way, harddrives are a better choice.

I do not agree , a hard drive is Subjected to more risks, I have +100 blu ray disc dating from 2010 who lost no data
they are archived in separate pockets for a very good protect, i have 5 hard disk die from 2010-2016.

you make money from the optical drive with time.

Trying to get clarification here....  By mention of "EATX", are we talking proper 12x13" EATX and variants of that format like SSI-EEB, or are we talking more like the slightly extended ATX boards that are out there?

I have a argument on my inner thought, "should I buy Supermicro E-ATX motherboard or Asus EEB?" If I eventually will buy Asus EEB (because it has nice color combination, which is cool), will it fit with this EVGA DG-8?

I did a research online about the difference between EEB vs E-ATX, they may have the exact same dimension but unfortunately they have slight different screw hole position :( . So the big question is, does EVGA DG-8 will hold EEB mobo nicely?

Actually, the biggest reason why I ask is that EVGA claims their X99 Classified is E-ATX, but it's actually only 12" x 10 3/8" in size.  If I get this case, I want to stuff a.... ....we'll just say dual Xeon SSI-EEB format board in there, hence why I want to make sure it's the actual PROPER E-ATX dimensions of 12x13" (which, like you mention, are the same size as SSI-EEB but with a few mounting holes that are different) and not marketing E-ATX (where it's just a slightly wider ATX board).

Jacob or anyone please help us! LOL

Will EEB motherboard like Z10PED16_WS works nicely in this case? Thank you

Yes, it can support true EATX.
