I will need one for Hybrid card with 8+8 pin.
With EVGA Power Link and motherboard with angled 24 pin people don't need to think about PSU cables at all.
All of them are behind motherboard, only peaces 3-4 cm long are visible and only if you look on that place.

Now if someone build computer with new EVGA PSU with White LED and ACX 3.0 with white LED and EVGA CPU Cooler PC will look great.
He will not need extra lights, LEDs from hardware will be enough. Special with R10THE board.

I hope this doesn't turn into vaporware.  I really need one of these for my micro-atx build.

Seriously. Its going the same way the EVGA soundcard and Keyboard did. We hear about it, get excited, and then it entirely disappears....

I think they will give EVGA Power Link with Classified cards.
They will not forget.

Another thread had it noted that they got delayed to make them compatible with more models. This caused the date to get pushed back until August, hopefully it'll be early August and not get bumped again.

Ok seriously where the hell is it? It cant be THAT hard to make a piece of plastic witha  pair of power terminals.

Actually you would be surprised, how tough it is to get the mold correct and tolerance it for the spec range of all the GPUs

Different plastics / regrind mix / molding profile ......

thought there was info that there is a new revision being made - launch pushed back

Too many differences between cards and connectors for a one size fits all. So multiple molds, cavities per mold
Seems to me the tooling would be very basic. 2 piece (Family Mold), probably top and bottom shell.
Take the in gpu box power connectors, stick em in some slots made in the molded part, snap or glue together.
laser print a logo.

Materials.. Nylon,Polycarbonate, or ABS, most definitely regrind(as its not for the medical industry).
30 minutes set up on a mold machine, 30 minutes on a mold program.. Done.

20 cents worth of materials, 20 cents worth of labor(if that), and you have your $20 dollar each power adapter.

I just wish the connectors connected straight through the back(end) of card.
