I keep saying to my self that I don't want to install a water tank and pump in my computer system. !!!

I kept saying that as well and look where I am now.   Installing a tank and pump in my computer system.

You could always do what I ended up doing and install the watercooling hardware in an external box. I have only my waterblocks and water lines going into my case and everything else is external :D

Still hoping for EK to have a waterblock available for the 1080 Classy shortly after it launches... as I definitely plan on putting it under water asap.  Had a hell of a time getting as block for my 780 Classy when it was released.. mainly due them being sold out almost as soon as they came in stock.  I'm sure it'll be the same this time around.  So, not holding my breath.

Why? so you cant use the new bridge? Find a company that supports the bridge and the block. Remember 700 series and 900 series both were handled by ek and both had delays for the hydrocopper. EK didnt even makes a 980ti classy specific waterblock last time. Hopefully this new company can handle the order better.

1. All Hydro Copper blocks we made had the Terminal pushed further back on the card so it would in theory be compatible with the new HB bridge if we released it.

2. We didn't make HC blocks for the 700 series. First one was Titan-Z.

3. All delays in production were on EVGA. We had Hydro Copper drawings and designs and were ready to start production weeks in advance of each respective GPU launch but received no confirmation from EVGA until way late to start.

4. We were ready at all times to make more blocks. We can fulfill an order of 500 in less than a week if necessary. They simply didn't order proper quantities to maintain stock levels.

I seriously hope you know what your doing making a company disagreement public like that. You are burning the bridges of a mutually beneficial partnership here.

It is a shame you both cannot agree to continue working on the 10 series as I like both EVGA and EK.

There is 0 1080 evga blocks. The bridges are already burnt. It's not a small hiccup where they say they will release them slightly late or something.

Those are Founders Edition blocks that work with all manufacturers' FE cards. Everyone here is talking about custom PCBs.

They have said both no and yes. In the live stream yesterday they said "no plans", but in the link from earlier in the thread there is a rep saying there will be one for the FTW and Classified cards. Just waiting on an official statement from them about this to clarify...hopefully at Computex? Also, the question is who is the manufacturer if not EK, Swiftech?

I think EKWB will still make waterblock for EVGA best card, because they know what we want.
Most of people will want to buy EVGA just because it has great warranty and we can water cool it without voiding warranty.

So it would be only logical that EKWB will make block for those card and sell it on their own, without have any partnership with EVGA.
It would be very sad not to have EKWB waterblock for EVGA top tier card :\

What don't you understand in: There won't be any EK blocks for non-ref EVGA cards this round as of this post.

EKWB does not really need any partnership to design a block compatible with EVGA's cards I guess. They would need one to be the designers of the hydro copper card, but that's already decided it's not. It's been confirmed multiple times here and on reddit by EK representatives. There will be no other block than the reference one for any 1070/80 EVGA cards. Maybe they'll do something for the 1080ti, but in the meantime, if you want to watercool an EVGA, you either go reference, hydro copper, or you wait to see if swiftech and the likes do blocks.

EK made it pretty clear, that there will be no blocks! EVGA will release their own waterblocks.
