So I was under the impression that the hybrid kits only worked on FTW cards. I did not realize they worked on FE cards. 


Actually, the new Hybrid kit that is out now ONLY works on reference boards. They have one coming for the FTW boards.

You ran the test at 1080 resolution.  Do you have a 2K or 4K monitor to re-run your test??
 I would like to see your "extreme" with your new video card :)



This is on my Asus 2560 X 1440 monitor.

I think i just have to snag a FTW 1080 or an msi gaming x ones 1 of them gets in stock



I'm in a similar situation, can only buy from Amazon, Newegg or B&H.
 
Was waiting for the AIO hybrid but god knows when I'll be able to get one, have been without a GPU for two months now so just now grabbed an 1080 SC-ACX from Amazon for $649 and have a hybrid kit on backorder.

Nice...but doesnt the hybrid kit only fit the founders pcb? The SC has a different pcb if im not mistaken
 
EDIT: Alright the SC i think is the founders PCB so you good lol
Where did u get the hybrid kit from EVGA itself or amazon? cant find it anywhere on amazon

All but the FTW and classified have a reference PCB.  In fact, under the serial number sticker, it actually says NVIDIA.  Look at the compatibility list on the product page.

Yeah it was available to order a few days ago but wasn't in stock, sort of a pre-order.
 
I ordered two but haven't heard anything about when stock is due.
