I don't blame the gougers at all, good for them if they're able to ninja these cards before anyone else and sell them for a profit. It's not their fault, they're allowed to because of Nvidia.
Everyone always throws around supply and demand every single time as if companies aren't aware by now, when really, they appear to depend on it to build hype for their product.
Would it make too much sense to produce 5,000 chips versus 500 before putting your product on the market?
It's really not that hard to understand, why else would a company release a product without ample stock, let alone properly planning and working with other manufacturers such as EVGA to produce a nice amount before selling them? Connect the dots, supply and demand is only a problem when you rush, don't plan, or blatantly use it as a marketing tool.
