769.99 boys...seems a bit too expensive, should of been 749.99 atleast

That's cheaper than the 980 ti hybrid was when it launched. Correct?

Been putting off a mostly EVGA build PC waiting for the 1080 hybrid, looks like with limited stock this build is pushed back more.

I wish there was a way to put a rule to "not sell our items overpriced on amazon/newegg/ebay" and those kind of crap....because while we want to buy either an evga hybrid or waterforce or w.e. we got snipers buying it and reselling it for 450dollars to 600 more more

It's ridiculous. Still can't understand why there isn't a pre-order? Can someone from EVGA explain why there is no pre-order? A pre-order will guarantee people will eventually get a card regardless of limited quantity. It's pretty clear we want your card. I started the damn thread on May 10th and I'm still here patiently waiting.

Just communicate with your customers. If your getting 50 cards in give them to the first 50 pre-orders and update everyone else on the list. As long as people are kept in the loop they will wait. Silence and uncertainty is the problem.

I apologize for rambling and complaining. I'm just frustrated.

PasTecHi
You are not complaining. It's a feedback of your dissapointment which is kinda a dissapointment for all of us too. While those who are dying to get a card there isnt a pre-order posibility on their website. Regardless selling them to snipers who is going to resell it on ebay for 450 to 600 dollars more expensive. And the reason why they are not doing anything about it, in my opinion is because they probably dont even care about us lol

Of course they don't care. They just want to make their money. It doesn't matter to them whether people who legitimately want the card to, you know, use it or whether snipers get it. They get paid either way. That's the way this works. If they wanted to prove me wrong, they know what to do to alleviate all our anger and frustration.

I feel like EVGA has been weird the last little while. Instead of using their Anniversary to get partners to donate to a massive scavenger hunt giveaway like they've done every year since I started following them, they used it as an excuse to offload a bunch of unsold inventory. Admittedly, there were some fantastic deals, but this year the festivities have been rather lackluster by comparison to previous years. Also, there have definitely been fewer giveaways than normal over the last year or so than in previous years. Maybe they felt like they could help more people by having sales than giveaways. However, in this particular situation, it just seemed like an excuse to try to get rid of inventory. I don't know. Maybe I'm the only one who feels like this.

PasTecHi
Well the thing is if they make 100 and put it on the market and 50 snipers buy it. Means there are 50 legitimate people who wanted to buy it but aint gonna pay 1400dollars for it. Means they can make 50 more for the 50 that didnt buy it which from the 50 only 15 bought and the 35 others, the snipers bouht it..and so go on and go on they make more money. I think thats why they dont even care. If they did care i dont expect any staff to come on the forums to prove me wrong but instead show us on the online retailer websites that they do care by doing something with those snipers.
And well i honestly dont mind sales because lets be honest when you have a business and you have merchants thats getting like 2 years old getting dust and probably dont have much value anymore, you put up some sales to try getting rid of most of them and still make money. Thats just how it is. But the fact that people want to legitimate buy your product but in order to get their hands on one is to go balls deep on the snipers or wait till evga make more so they can make more money, thats kind of sad. And its not only on evga, same goes for gigabyte/msi/nvidia/zotac/amd/asus all.
