The irony is that EVGA have had the worst launch out of all the brands in terms of releasing their aftermarket cards on time.
 

I need a new gpu before college starts which is in like 5weeks, if 1080 hybrid still havent gotten a release date Im getting the seahawk version.
I have waited for 1080 hybrid since May like many others.

I preordered the SeaHawk, it's up to EVGA now to let me delete the order to get the Hybrid. I really hope they kept some FTW PCB to fullfil at least the first Hybrid demand.

It seems likely that, when the hybrid comes out, the same thing that happened with the ftw today will occur. I'll check on my phone every ten minutes the whole day and they will go on the website the second I get busy at work. I'll check again an hour later only to have had them go on sale and sell out. Not that I care about the ftw. I was just really confused when I totally missed them going on sale, and selling out.

ive pretty much lost all hope of the hybrid actually being able to purchase this month.

First come first serve for me. Missed out on a couple SeaHawks. Hopefully I can snag a WaterForce tomorrow. Who knows on the Hybrid.

Well due my credit card issue im getting a new card july 29....so if by 29 i do not see a hybrid available ill buy a gigabyte waterforce or a seahawk. no other choice.

Maybe because they want to finish of the ftw's thats still on demand(out of stock for those who pre-ordered probably)..all im saying is by July 29 when i get my new mastercard and that hybrid isnt up for sale or out of stock im buying something else.

i cant really remember any reason beside non replaceable fan.
 
but what are the downsides to the gigabyte hybrid that newegg will have tomorrow? stock pcb? price?
