Newegg has a posting on their site now for the card, it's not in stock but it's up for auto notify, maybe it's a sign that cards are coming soon and will be going to other retailers.

It was in stock for quite a long time yesterday.

I was at work all day sadly missed it. But that's great news! Hopefully this will lead to more frequent stock of the card.

Both EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid and the EVGA Hybrid kit on newegg.com are removed from the cart when shipping destination is changed to anything other than USA.

Does any one know if this restriction is placed by EVGA or newegg?

i would say its a new egg thing considering new egg is not owned by EVGA

I am aware newegg isn't owned by EVGA.

I am asking because, take Amazon for example, I can't buy some things from Amazon "due to restrictions placed by manufacturer" according to Amazon.

It's just annoying because I can't buy from EVGA stores (EVGA's own restriction) and then when I finally find stock at newegg only to again be told I can't buy it, and it's not because they are out of stock! Yet I can buy other computer components from newegg without this restriction...

I thought about getting either FE or SC then slap on EVGA Hybrid kit myself, but I also cannot buy EVGA Hybrid kit from EVGA stores or newegg.

There are forwarding services if your willing to pay for it. I'd offer to forward shipping on too (California resident) if anyone would be trusting enough, but I understand that most people wouldn't be comfortable with such an expensive item. Any chance you have friends or relatives in the states you could press into service?

Tried forwarding services, their addresses are blocked by EVGA stores.

I've always bought EVGA due to their good reputation for support and customer service, and fortunately I've not had to RMA anything as of yet.
But after the recent 1080 FTW black screen problem in the other thread on this forum, I am not so sure any more, as I've come to find out EVGA does not offer advanced RMA, paid or not, nor do they offer expedited shipping in my region. As a result, my fellow countryman that has a faulty 1080 FTW was asked to pay for shipping to RMA his card and will be without a card for 6 weeks minimum.
