Stable at 2060 seems pretty decent, right on par, not every card is hitting 2.1. Also, performance wise it's pretty insignificant, maybe 1 frame if you were able to hit it, pretty negligible unless benchmarking is what you are into. If it's for gaming, you'll be thrilled.

Yeah, just ran F1 2016 for a bit. This card gives me a nice 12 fps boost vs 980 Ti OC in terms of minimum fps (70 to 82), want to stay as close to 100 fps as possible. I get stuttering even at stock settings when running 3dmark, less apparent in F1 game so far. Hopefully an early driver issue.

Played a bit more F1 and the micro stuttering is bad. Ran latencymon, all systems green. Will wait a week or two, if no driver updates I'm sending the card back and reverting back to 980 Ti. Won't clutter this thread anymore with my issues. Good luck all.

i dunno . . . i'd be pretty let down with only 2060MHz. alot of aircooled cards are boosting themselves up to 2050-2101MHz without any OC'ing. my Strix 1080 boosts itself up to 2101MHz in OC mode and my Founders Edition peaked at 2153MHz.

i'm probably going to grab a Hybrid just to try it out. the Gigabyte Waterforce would've been a complete no brainer if it wasn't for that damn orange color scheme. it's the only ones that i've seen with a stable clock of over 2200MHz.

Wait what? Pre-order? From where and how? I thought that the hybrids had not been up in the EU store yet :S

You were able to preorder the Hybrid about two weeks ago in the EU shop.

Tested my new EVGA 1080 FTW Hybrid while overclocking in my room with my ambient room temps at 84-88F & settled on a core at 2101mhz & memory at 5805mhz. Was able to get the core to 2125mhz stable but the memory OC was suffering a big hit though. After 20min of Heaven Benchmark looping my max top core temp was 47C with the room temp at almost 88F!

After turning on my air conditioning I got my room down to about 61-65F (I prefer 63-67F). After another 20min of Heaven Benchmark looping with the same settings my new max top core temp was 35C! During 3DMark benchmarking it did hit a max temp of 37C but that seems to use a little more of the card's power.

While multiboxing 10 World of Warcraft accounts at 2560x1600, I noticed the GPU was at only 50% usage & my core temps were only 30C.

The thing I can not get over is how QUIET this thing is. I can not tell the difference between idle noise and full GPU load noise from the computer at all. Even forcing the GPU fan to 100% from the default 50% or whatever its set to I could not hear the difference(the fan on the card itself which cools the video memory, can't control the radiator fan). I do have like 6 case fans, but I was expecting a low to medium noise difference while the GPU was under load from the radiator fan at least.  I had tried a 1080 FE earlier, but at 50-70% fan speed the noise it made was way too loud & annoying for my taste. My Hybrid has no coil whine either, I could not be happier.

The case fan I had to remove to fit my radiator/fan onto the roof of my case I ended up installing outside of my case on the top to "PULL" more air through the radiator making my setup a push/pull config. Ended up using the zipties that came with the card, wish I could link a picture on here but I don't have enough posts I'm pretty sure. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Yes I love the look of the card too. I called EVGA and they suggested I try Precision, and now it correctly goes up to 130%. I think I have a bad overclocker though. Granted I know nothing about the latest Precision yet other than the basics + adjust the voltage slider to 100 on the left side. Preliminary benchmarks have my voltage max at 1.093v, with a +100 core offset I crashed at 2088mhz. Solid at 2060mhz. Not thrilled...at all...but temps are insanely cool on this thing, barely over 40 degrees. MUCH quieter than my 980 Ti Hybrid too.

People forget that chips are not as before. NVIDIA and Intel didn't support overclocking and 35-40% improvements as before on all products.
Because of that many people who had watercooling systems in past now use AIO systems and don't want to spend money on full cover expensive watercooling when they reach 60MHz over fabric OC. Manufacturers in many situations with premium models overclock to the last MHz and AIO could cooldown GPU easy. Than custom loop stay only as visual satisfaction and maybe 10% performance improvements.
But many times draining to the last MHz influence on degradation and shorter life of hardware.

That's what I like to hear, those temps are insane! I also plan on putting my rad in the push/pull config.

YES, YES, YEEEEEEEES!
I don't know but did you see new CORSAIR Magnet Levitation fans for Push-Pull for EVGA Hybrid.
I decide to buy two of them...

28db on 2400RPM

That's impossible, if they are so silent we could keep them on 2000RPM...
They are 400-2400RPM

@Vlada: I ordered a pair of ML120's too but they haven't arrived yet. Honestly, the cooler on the 1080 Hybrid is so quiet already. It is amazing how much quieter it is compared to the 980 Ti Hybrid.

the fins and corners look like noctua nf-f12s. but in black!

$25 per 120mm fan.  $35 for a pack of two.  Ouch.  If they are as magical as they say though, I will look at using some.  I guess buying in two packs is about the same as my Noctua fans.
