OC results will depend from luck, temps will be probably in range 50-65C depend of game, fan speed, resolution, ambient temps.
Now is summer and usually over summer temps of hardware are 3-7C higher.
Seahawk is nice card but not fit in my interior.
Actually Hybrid is closest to my imaginary plan even from period when I planned black motherboard.
65*c would be horrible for a watercooled GPU. i don't even get that high on my air cooled GPU.
why wouldn't the Seahawk fit? isn't the Hybrid even bigger than it?
there are currently some Seahawks available on Newegg. i'm so tempted to grab a watercooled 1080 just to check it out.
Your air heat sounds bizarre to me, nowhere have I ever seen air heat being that low.
Where do you live, in the snow? After OCing a 1080 strix, under either test loads from Valley or actual gaming (Witcher3) 70% fan, the highest I've seen it go is 75C, average maybe 70-72C, which pretty much aligned with every other review I've seen. I've tested this in two different cases, one case being Corsair 450D with Noctua fans throughout (x2 140MM, X6 120MM, all around the case for proper intake/exhaust, as well as an InWin case that supposedly has "restricted" airflow of which I saw a marginal of error difference using all Gentle Typhoon fans--so it's not necessarily anything to do with "good airflow" besides the basics of good performance fans and good pressure.)
The highest I've seen an AIO GPU go, coming from the 980ti hybrid at OC was 65C, average 60C.
Are you sure your card is being 100% utilized?
