I think it's strange that people who are buying other brands are still posting on EVGA forums, is there no gigabyte/msi forums?

I started this thread because I wanted a EVGA Hybrid but it didn't happen because EVGA couldn't get product out to their potential customers in a timely fashion. Which is why I and many others went to the competition. Why does it matter to you that were still here? We are all enthusiasts sharing our passion for gaming.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Yay, you got a Seahawk. Good! Now get off this forum if you don't have anything worthwhile to contribute.

What have you contributed to this thread? Other than telling people to get off the forum?

You're right. I apologize for lashing out in my post a little but ago. I am just frustrated with this whole launch debacle.

It's all good. I totally understand how you feel.

It doesn't matter to me one bit why anyone is here, all I said is that I find it to be strange, neither good nor bad, and followed up with my reasoning.

And EVGA needs to know how long we've been waiting for the hybrid, why we went to other brands and how good or better the other brands might be as well.
So i say its fair enough right?

Then you're just bickering and adding no context. Maybe other members want to inform each other that there is already another option available, which is fine.

    I think its strange that's actually strange to you. You should keep in mind that some people have multiple 1080's of different brands.   I can't blame the OP of this thread boasting about his MSI hybrid. I had one a few days ago but sold it for a huge profit in the Hard Forums. Solid card with great temps and overclocks.
   - Waiting on the FTW hybrid seems futile being that it more than likely will not overclock no higher than the air-cooled version. Which BTW is a total crap fest for the majority of the FTW owners. I guess most people will only be buying it for bragging rights... for the love of that EVGA brand name.

Just for the record, if I came across as if I was boasting or rubbing it in that was not my intention at all. I figured I could help others make a well informed decision if they no longer desired to wait. There are many good products out there that do not bear the name EVGA.
