saw this that looks like quick connects to me and i see lots of other evga things in there connected all together

Why use Hybrid cards in this configuration instead of Hydro cards with a full water block?

To show off the expandability of the system.

I'm assuming all the parts you see will eventually be available from EVGA and this is to showcase that and to show off the expandability as Strafe said.

I hope EVGA has plenty of Hybrids at launch. These things look they are going to be very popular.

That is exactly why i waited. I'm suffering here trying to do 2560x1440 on a 770... holding out for a 1080 hybrid.

I'm in the same boat, except I'm suffering trying to deal with reprojection in SteamVR with my 770 4GB... I've been holding out for Pascal, and seeing what the AIB partners do. After seeing a bit more info on the GTX 1080 Hybrid, looks like I'm gonna be waiting it out for this also. If it is essentially an FTW with an Asetek liquid cooler it's going to be a really solid card. From what others have already posted doing their own franken-hybrids (like the cringe worthy show by GN), we should expect to be able to sustain a decent ~2GHz boost.

I'm really interested to see what Big Pascal will do, seeing that the memory will be on package and thus be cooled by an AIO we should see some interesting designs.

I have a question, if anyone from EVGA (or anyone else, really) can help me. I bought an hybrid 980ti on the 30th of march, and would really like to exchange it through the 90 days step up program... I kinda fear that the the 1080 hybrid won't be in the options for it before my 90 days are up though... Can I do anything about it?

If someone step-up from GTX980Ti Hybrid he could get only GTX1080 reference if I understand their system.
Many people will want EVGA Hybrid GTX1080 and GTX1080Ti Hybrid.
And that's great investment because AIO cooldown and hottest Radeon  graphic card easy.

EVGA GTX1080 Hybrid with 2x Gentle Typhoon Black Edition PWM 500-1850 RPM in Push-Pull connected to motherboard or fan controller.
These fans... And you will have so nice temps in silence and Hybrid will become your favorite graphic card EVER.

Pretty much how I have my 980ti hybrids set up. I put the Gentle Typhoons on them and put them in a push/pull. I have not yet connected them to the motherboard though. But I know these rascals scream at Witcher 3 in 4k. I was at a spot getting over 100fps (AA and hairworks off. AA not needed and I do not like hairworks). I average 64-74 fps and mine do not handle an oc very well. 1480 at best.

Thats funny. It seems Steve/GamersNexus had his trip paid for to Computex by MSI and all his Utubes have a brief MSI pitch, including this one for the EVGA cards.

Hey, if someone was gonna pay your way for a trip like that, would you honestly say no?

How I feel last year that bigger cooler could be excellent for Hybrid.
Only I thought maybe EVGA plan to launch Hybrid version Classified.
But never mind, this is more than enough.

Nicest Pascal on Market.

Looks like EVGA plan to version of AIO systems for CPU, 120 and 240mm.

Did you notice what they done with power connectors...??? Now VGA cables could be connected on back side.  Excellent, excellent.

If SLI, then that would bring up the need for a decision whether or not to chain together 2 hybrids into a 240mm radiator, or for each gpu to have its own radiator and not be chained together. Other options when chaining is a possibility.

Personally I've already bought a Thermaltake 393mm AIO cooler for my cpu to go in the top of my case. No quick disconnects with it. I presume I could add QD's to it, but don't think so at this time.

There's room in the case bottom for a 240mm cooler for my gpu's.

Classified is like Terminator.
So cool colors, from every side look different depend of light, not as other graphics, whole ACX 3.0 series.
