That's not really a bad thing - my 1080 ACX 3.0 base model with a Kraken X41 and a G10 bracket does 2,202MHz/11,114Mhz all with a single 8 pin power plug and a 4+1 VRM design.

jet.com has them. comes to like $1450 for 2. i still cant pull the trigger. i have a 980ti, and cant help but think waiting for a deal on a 980ti hybrid for like $350 or less (used) would be better then dropping $1450 on 2 1080 hybrids. at least until 1080ti's come out or maybe even longer. i had a 980ti SLI setup before, and it did well enough for 4k 60fps.

The only reason that I upgraded my 980 Ti Classified to a 1080 was because of the step up program. The 15% performance gain in DX11 benchmarks is just not worth $600+ (DX12 Timespy gain was ~25%). If you have a 980 Ti that OCs well, then I would keep it and wait for the next gen. If you're rich and money is of no importance, then buy a Titan XP for real performance gains.

Edit: I should mention that the 980 Ti Classified could clock to 1500MHz/8000MHz, and I also still have a Gigabyte 980 Ti G1 Gaming that can clock to 1580MHz(1500MHz on air)/7950MHz. All were under the same AIO Kraken X41 and G10 bracket - including my current 1080 ACX 3.0.

just installed the new Hybrid 1080 last night and i'm very happy with this one.

finally was able to join the 2200mhz Club! there was some artifacts and screen tears during benchmarks, so i don't consider it a stable OC. but i am happy to see that this new GPU was able to peak at 2202mhz:

this is a screenshot of the highest stable OC i was able to obtain last night. +175 core offset was able to peak at 2189mhz and then bounced around 2177mhz to 2164mhz when the card got up to it's max temp of 43*c - 44*c. 100% fan speed on the radiator fan and GPU's fan:

i will be testing it in game later on. hopefully this one doesn't keep crashing like the Hybrid i'm about to box up and ship back to EVGA. it's also a little quieter compared to my first Hybrid as well.

I have finally gotten myself a GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid.

Does anyone know the ordering of the connectors, which one is the dominant connector?
DP0, DP1, DP2, HDMI, DVI
HDMI, DVI, DP0, DP1, DP2
DVI, HDMI, DP0, DP1, DP2
DP0, HDMI, DP1, DP2, DVI

During startup and boot the display is on the monitor connected to the dominant connector.
I know from my old GeForce 650Ti that VGA is dominant, while HDMI is next, then DVI.

The order is DVI>HDMI>DP, so your third listing.

Then I need to use either a DVI-to-DP or HDMI-to-DP connector for my old monitor which doesn't have DisplayPort.

Does anyone know if the 1080 FTW Hybrids are impacted by the VRM issue on the other FTW models?

If you are talking about the black screen, 100% fan issue requiring reboot, then yes, my first 1080 FTW Hybrid had this issue, but that was back in August. This issue has since been resolved to my knowledge, and I have not myself seen any posts recently from 1080 FTW Hybrid owners complaining of this issue.
