Hey All,
Just reporting back as requested by jxm1013
Got my Zotac Arctic Storm 1080 installed after a quick trip to Microcenter on Friday for a new 90 degree dual rotary fitting. Had to replace a run of tubing and make a couple small adjustments to handle the larger size. But overall, it wasn't a tough transition. Man is this thing big!
First game I played was Battlefield 4. I cranked the settings all up to Ultra and I have a 1440x3440 Ultra Wide monitor.
Completely blown away. Coming from my 570 it was like night and day. I was getting roughly 100-120 fps with dips down to 80 in graphic heavy situations. Card never broke 44 degrees Celsius.
I haven't tried overclocking it yet, but to be honest, I really don't have any intensions to any time soon. I can play any game I own at max settings without even getting close to my monitors 60 hz refresh rate. So consider me satisfied. lol. The Battlefield 1 beta plays butter smooth as well.
I do have a little remorse for deviating from the EVGA camp as i've always been happy with them, but I seriously couldn't be happier with this card. The Zotac support reps i've dealt with have been extremely knowledgeable and fantastic to deal with.
Here's the review I left on the Newegg product page:

Good luck to all of you who are waiting for the Hydro Copper. I'm sure it will be a fantastic card. :)
P.S.
A quick note for everyone. If you don't already know what Fast Sync is (not to be confused with G-Sync, V-Sync, or Free Sync) I highly recommend you guys try it out.
I am getting zero tearing with no noticeable input lag on my setup.
