I'm having the same problem with the WMI Provider Host and ended up at this thread. The problem is that for whatever reasons it's causing the WMI Provider Host to create tzres.dll and over again. EVGA devs should be able to figure this out pretty quick. I don't have a solution other than going back to a previous version.
Edit: Confirming that 5.3.10 is unaffected by this bug.
It's available on the evga precision download page (can't link it, forum removes it). But it's on their main site /precision if you want the url. If you're worried about losing features or introducing bugs. Here are the bug fixes from 5.3.10 to 5.3.11:
- Adds OSD support for DX12 Mode in Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Fix OSD On/Off error when changing GPU
- Fix software fan control in SLI mode
- Confirm Apply changes when changing GPU
- Update OSD exclude list
If these things do not affect you, I would revert.
Edit 2: Wow, EVGA your forum filters are crazy! I can't even say system 32 in one contiguous word without getting an error! Anyway, tzres.dll is related to time zones, and the mui file is for the language resources, just in case anyone is wondering. It should exist by default in your windows\system 32 directory (no space)
