When you join BOS, they give you a set of T-60.

They didn't give me any T-60 armor. BTW, you got multiple posts and I got multiple notifications and they all said the same thing and arrived at the same time. Forums seem fine to me.

And then you double post too. I'm only going to press submit one time on this post, lets hope it works OK.

related to the feeling of being Overpowered, anyone feel that the difficulty settings aren't that hard at high levels? I died a ton on normal difficulty, and now I can tear through things easy at high levels even on survivor, granted this is to be partly expected, but I see to recall the difficulty setting being much more meaningful (bigger change) in previous games.

Yep, forums was acting weird for awhile earlier.

I feel there are a bit of balance issues with some weapons, some don't do enough damage and some do too much. It equates out to feeling like grenades and missiles are devastating, but some forms of weapons are just nerfed. The problem falls in both directions of too little and too much. It can be easy-mode with some weapons types, and it can be suicidal mode with some armor types. The drop off in both directions needs to be smoothed out a bit. You encounter some things that are just too hard and then too easy all in the same game sitting.

How do you turn the helmet light on and off?

Hold TAB.
I found it out by mistake.

Thanks for letting us know. I sure didn't see that as a mappable option in the commands. There are some odd and undocumented things in Fallout 4 every once in awhile.

Brad,

From what you are describing about weapons VS weapons (easy vs hard), it sounds like what Bethesda said in one of their interviews is happening. Essentially one weapon is not always the correct choice for all situations. I've noticed this myself and carry several types. Doing so causes a lot of weight to be added to my inventory and reduces the amount of goodies I can carry from looted bodies.

By join, I mean the airship arrives and calls you to report to duty. Once on airship you get one. Just at the police station initially you're not really a part of BOS yet. You're just a Merc for them at that time. You get sponsored into BOS though once you report to the ship.

OK, I am just a 'Pledge Initiate' or something right now. Got it, thanks.

I have to look this up every time I play a Fallout game.

I don't use power armor as I like to be a sneaky sniper!

I'm the same way. Have to carry an assortment of sniper rifles and stay away from automatics.

Anyone else carrying a lot of ammo and no weapon to use with it? I have close to 1000 rounds (as of this post) of .50 cal. and no weapon to use it with. This started almost immediately.

Ammo doesn't weigh you down. Just hang on to it.
